“Hell Is A Real Place” Or “Hell Reacheth For Thee” Or “Scriptural Truths Concerning Hell”

“…I will forewarn you [W]hom ye shall fear: Fear [H]im, which after [H]e hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea I say unto you, Fear [H]im.”  (Luke 12)

Our Lord doth not mince His Words or His meaning in our quoted passage above. The Lord Jesus, to put everything into context, is telling us not to fear persons who can kill and then do no more once they have killed.  Instead, says the Christ, Fear God, Who after He has killed has the power to cast the dead into hell.

Out text tells us three (3) truths.
*Do not fear puny humans.
*Do Fear God.
*Hell is a place to fear.

The word hell has lost it’s power in our time.  Hell is used as a by-word, “What the Hell?”  “What in the Hell,”  etc.  These expressions make no sense at all. Let’s incert other places to show how stupid it is to use the word Hell in one’s conversation.
*What in the Chicago is going on?’
*Who in the Kentucky knows?
*How in the Pakistan should I know?
*What the Picayune is going on here!?

Reader, do you get my point? Nothing in the example given above makes sense.  Why do persons walk around using the word hell? What is the purpose, what is the intent, what doth it even mean?

The persons of this wicked world indulge themselves by using words such as Hell, J….. Ch…  The true hater of God puts an expletive in between J and C.  Why do they do it? Why that Name? Why that place?  One does not hear,  “What the Heaven is going on in here?”

We are told by Christ that the words wo/men use idley will be use against them at their judgement. The intensity of Hell may depend upon one’s spewed words. Years ago, I remember a woman jesting about the virgin birth. She did not or rather could not believe it. I say could not because it was obvious that God did not allow her to believe. This woman used crude words and she will answer for those words.

I also remember a man asking what the big deal about the crucifixion was, this ignorant little puny human thought the nails in Christ’s Hands and Feet were not a big deal. It is a very stupid person who speaks that blasphemy. Reader, Stupid is not a word i use lightly or often. I reserve that word for the truly stupid. This tiny little man thought himself to be a funny man.

God shall have that man in derision and God will have the Last laugh as this man is cast into hell. There were other persons in the room, I am told, when little man blasphemed. These other persons all jumped up and evacuated the office. Even the unsaved “Civil Citizens,” as the Puritans would call the lost, but good by human standards, knew he was blaspheming God and they didn’t want to be around the little man.

Hell is not a only a word upon the lips of the lost, Hell is a place where sinners find themselves after death.  Hell is a real place.  I do think it is in the center of this planet. Some may disagree and that is fine.

Hell is a place of:
*Consciousness.
*A place of suffering and sorrows.
*A place of everlasting torment.
*A place of punishment.
*A place of fire.
*A place of Outer darkness.
*A place of contempt.
*A place of separation
*A place where there will be much weeping and gnashing of teeth.
*A place where demons are punished and where demons will punish.
*A place that is God forsaken.
*A place where the mercies of God are not.

Beloved, Hell is a place of utter torment and is not just a word. Think about it, Hell is a place where one is conscious and is outside of God’s mercies. Mercies such as air, water, sleep, rest, peacefulness, friends and family.  All these are given us by the mercy of God. In Hell all these things that are taken for granted will be gone. Use your sanctified imagination and think how it would be to be in Hell. Hell is a place where the worm dieth not. The conscience will grate at self over and over, Why did I not look to Christ for salvation? Why Why Why Why Why? Yet Scripture tells us the sinner still will repent not.

Hell is a place where sinners belong.  What would a sinner….what would a Christ hater do in Heaven? Sinners have no place to go but Hell; Hell is where they belong. There is no third (3rd) place.  It’s Heaven or Hell.  Heaven would be a Hell for sinners. Think about it, Heaven is a place where saints will live forever without sin. Heaven is a place where Christ will be thanked, praised, loved, and a place where He will be greatly Glorified in the presence of His people. What would a sinner do if s/he were allowed in Heaven? It would be like a death metal musician singing, ” O’ How I need Thee every hour.” It doesn’t mix, it doesn’t mesh.

Heaven is for the saint and Hell is for the sinner and the sinner wouldn’t have it otherwise. If the sinner did not want to attend church, it is certain s/he would not want Heaven. That may be why they use hell as an expletive, they are like E.T. of the eighties (80’s), they are calling for their home.

What about you, beloved reader? What about you? Where will you spend eternity?  Are you glad, like David was “when they said unto [him,] Let us go into the house of the LORD?”  Are you glad to enter into a house or home where God resides? or do you count the minutes until the last Amen is said?  Reader, Here it is, if you are not comfortable with God’s people here on earth, you will not be going to Heaven.  If you are far more comfortable in and with your sin and sins, then Hell awaits.

Godspeed.
