Reader, Either before reading this article or after reading this article, please read the one preceding this. Both these articles form a kind of unity.  In the previous, we wrote upon what it is to love Christ, not exhaustively of course.  In this article, we will (DV) write upon loving the world and how the two (2) are mutually exclusive one (1) to the other.  In other words, one cannot love both Christ and the world.  One cannot serve two (2) masters, a man will love the one (1) and hate the other.  One (1) cannot build one’s house upon sand and expect it to survive the coming storm and the storm is coming…this I promise and Reader, I do not make promises. One is either for Christ or one is against Him.  Reader, are you getting my meaning?  For you to live….must be Christ.  One cannot save one’s life and be saved, one must lose one’s life in order to be saved. Reader, one (1) passage should be enough for you to understand this single truth, We have given you many.

This this is one (1) of the most important Biblical truths, one can understand. Many other truths are built upon this truth….Christ must, must, must be first (1st) or better, preeminent. The world must not even have a place in your spiritual life. The world can not be second (2nd) place, third (3rd) place, fourth (4th) place or even last. It is true, we live in the world but we are not of the world.  Christ chose us out of the world, (John15).

(s)atan is said to be “god of the world.”  (s)atan is also called “Prince of the Power of the Air” or one who rules from the second (2nd) heaven which is space and all that is under it. It is also true that (s)atan is a puppet king of Heaven just as herod was a puppet king of Rome. However, even a puppet king is granted certain powers.  Christ has told us, “In this world, ye shall have trespasses.”  Christ has also said, “This world would love it’s own….but ye are not of the world.”  Could it be any planer Christ-ian?  Is this a world youy should be comfortable in?  Yet some of you might be thinking, “but I am comfortable.”  Reader, this is dangerous and full of sin and treachery, treason, mutiny against the Captain of your Salvation, Christ, the Lord. Christ-ian Reader, Are you hearing me? READER, ARE YOU HEARING HIM?”  Are YOU hearing HIM?

What are the signs that one is loving the world?
*One spends times in and with the things of the world.
*One spends time talking about the world.
*One finds things in the world more interesting than the things of God.
*One who reads that which the world produces far more than what God has written.
*One rolls one’s eyes when this subject is mentioned or ignores warnings concerning one’s relationship with the world.
*One thinks, “I’ll deal with this later.”
*One thinks, “I’m saved, the preacher is asking too much.
*I’m not doing bad things in the world.  Reader, Are you doing more “not bad things”in the world than good things in Christ?  Good things in and of the world will send more persons to Hell than bad things.
*One thinks attending church is enough to be right with God.
*One thinks their parents, husbands, wives will earn them God’s blessing, while they live in the world.

Reader, I can go on and on but do I need to? Let me be blunt…if you are in the world and of the world and the above does not bother you, I greatly doubt your salvation.  If you are in the world and this bothers you and yet you intend to do nother, great trials will be coming your way, these trials will not only effect you but those around you.

 

So often, I want to shout, “SNAP OUT OF IT!!!…  PUT CHRIST FIRST or pay the consequences.”  But I fear the consequences for those that hear me, once I declare it.

IF the love of the world and for the world is in you, God’s love is not!!!  If you love the world you are God’s enemy, PERIOD.
