“These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.”  (Acts 16)

 

Reader, The above quotes is from the Book of Acts.  Read this statement a couple times.  Would you want someone to say something like this about you? Let us restate what has been said,  “These men are speaking to us in the Name of God, the Highest. They are hear to teach us the one (1) way of salvation, Hear ye, them.” The person saying the above followed Paul and his associates for “many days.”

Reader, again, would you not want someone saying this or something like this about you and your ministry? Any servant of God would want this said about them, lest it be a devil saying it!!! Amen? In our text It is a devil possessed young maiden following Paul and his fellow-labourers.  It is written, this maiden made much money for her master by fortune telling. It must have pleased the fortune teller’s master to allow her to follow Paul. After many days, Paul turned and with a loud voice, ordered the demon out of the young girl.

This, of course, did not please the master or the former fortune teller. The master was out of business.  This is something all business owners should take heed to.  This is something all those who are in business with the devil should note.  The devil does not feel as though he owes you anything, no, nothing at all.  The  devil may put a contract before you, you may sign it, but his signature means nothing.  He may…he might…there is a small chance….it is slightly possible he will keep his side of the deal in the here and now, but O’ thou fool,  Thou art a damned soul and thou shalt perish. Yes, you may have gained the whole world during your life, but in death thy soul, thy eternal soul has been lost.

It was a young girl known to be possessed by a demon that was, for days, telling the people to listen to Paul for he speaks for the Great and High God and these men show you the way of salvation. Why would a demon want persons to be saved? Did the demon want persons saved  Was the demon seeking God’s favour?  It has been said by Sherlock Holmes, “Whenyou hear hoof beats, think horse not Zebra.”  My point is this, none of the (3) three choices above are possible.  The demon possessed did what it/she did was to cast doubt upon the missionaries.

Let’s say, my ministry took of overnight.  Let’s say persons like Bill Mawr, Samantha Bee, Al Sharpton, Oprah Winfrey, The Clinton’s, and the night time talk show hosts began to say, “thechildrenofissachar.com and the minister that writes it is a great writer and he writes much truth. We all endorse him whole heartedly.” I ask my more conservative and saved readers, what they would think of me if they had neverheard of me before the group or evil persons above spoke of me?  Would you think me a person to listen to or to give a hearing?  Methinks none of you reading me right now would ever read my page.  I wouldn’t. Anyone Samantha Bee would hype is someone I would think very little of and that goes for her ilk.

However…Billy Graham did get his big push by a media man.  To this day, we are told, know one (1) knows why.  Graham preached a crusade and a news paper giant sent an order to all his papers and it read, “Puff Graham.”  The next day Graham was famous. Please realize that was a different time and America was a different place. This was surely an act of God’s sovereign will being imposed.  If a preacher is “puffed” today by the media, it is a red flag to say the least.

I have observed four (4) times a ministry is mentioned by the media.
*When a minister falls
*When a minister benefits the media agenda, as when a minister can be misquoted.
*Frankin Graham says anything because it bring heat upon Christ-ianity. I am not speaking ill of Graham, but complimenting Graham…He is a chief spokesman for the faith today.
*When a minister is more of a motivational speaker and does no harm to the media, a person like Joel Osteen. Osteen is only a threat to the local church.

My friend Mary Lou posted on FB a picture of the First (1st) Lady in a yellow gown. The media would not or did not print this, I am to understand. The reason is obvious unless one just came out of a coma.The media is over run with the left mindset like a feces is over run with flys or an old left-over piece of meat is over run with maggots. The media is biased and they hide it not but do deny it. They are like a person shooting another person in front of ten (10) others but says, “I didn’t do it.”

My friend, Mary Lou put this on FB and asked that it be forwarded so others can see how beautiful a First (1st) Lady we have. I did as she requested and then I thought and then I meditated upon a Scripture truth.  Meditating upon a Scripture truth will advantage you greatly.  (DV), we will write on this topic soon.

The First (1st) Lady should be honoured by being ignored and being disliked by the media.  If she were loved she would be like Hilary Clinton, an evil person.  The hatred of the left, the hatred of the media, the hatred of the ignorant is a very, very good thing, it is a compliment.  Being spoken well of by the demon possessed girl was that last thing Paul wanted. It was no compliment, it was no good thing, it was the wicked speaking well of the good, it was confusion at best.

Why would Paul allow this tactic by the enemy?  Why would he allow it if he knew it would speak ill of him if the demon spoke well of him??  Why would Paul allow it if he knew he could expel the demon at any time? Wisdom, my reader, Spiritual wisdom.

How much more would the people of Ephesus hear him after he, with mere Words, cast the vile and wicked demon from the girl and then present a girl purified before them? The answer is very, very many!!! OH! The Wisdom of God. BUT WAIT?  Why would (s)atan fall into this trap as he is wise as well?  (s)atan had no choice in the matter.  As Wise as God is ….so is He Sovereign and Omnipotent.  Our God says to His servant, (s)atan, “JUMP!!!”  and the devil asks, “How High, Lord?”  This is how the world works, Reader mine.

Reader, Count it all joy when the wicked speak ill of you. They hated Him first (1st), so shall they hate you.

Count it all joy that the Lord Jesus loves you.
