We have said for years and years and years that God is the God of the individual. My God is THE God of Abraham.  My God is the God of Isaac.  My God is the God of Jacob. My God is the God Moses, the God of Samson, the God of Ruth, Esther, King David, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Hosea, and Malachi. My God is THE God of John Baptist, My God is THE God of the Apostles, my God is THE God of Paul, my God is THE God of the Augustine, my God is THE God of J. Hus and W. Tyndale. My God is THE God of Luther and Calvin. My God is THE God of T. Watson, of J. Edwards, of J. Buyon. My God is THE God Of Spurgeon, of Pink, of Lewis, of LLoyd-Jones, of Tozer. My God is THE God of B. Graham, of Osteen, of MacArthur, of Sproul, of you and me.  Osteen was a joke, his popularized God is not my God and is not the God of the Scriptures.

 

While mega church counts and counts and counts and have so many members to boast about, “How many did you have on Sunday?”………………disgusting,  God is focused upon each and every one (1) of His beloved children. This must shout to the greatness of God; God is able to focus in on each and every one of His Own, all at the same time!!!

To put this into perspective, think about the talking heads on the news channels talking over each other.  One cannot make head nor hair of what they are barking. BUT God, with ease, hears every word spoken or prayed.  O! O! O!, lest i forget, God also takes note to our sighs, our grunts, and our ahhu’s.  Also, in Scripture, when the temple was built, some cried and some shouted for joy…it was confusion.

King David knew that God was aware of his uprisings and down-sittings. David said, God knows his thoughts afar off….WOW!!!  Reader!, Reader!, Reader!, Do you see how focused God is upon you? God knows………………………………………… When I write God knows and many periods or elipses follow, I’m saying God knows everything.  God knows where the other sock is. God knows where your keys are.  Do you know why?…………………………………………………..It’s all His. All that you have belongs to God. How do I know that? “The Bible told me so.” Scripture declares, Everything under Heaven belongs to God.  So when you have a minor fender bender…..it’s God’s Car, not yours. He’ll take care of that. Yes, you’ll do the leg work but He’ll take care of it and you.

Every person on this earth belongs to God. Every person on this earth is known by God. Every thought, action, deed, intent and motivation is known by God. In fact,  He knows the thought you are about to think right now.

Christ called Himself the Living Water.  Water goes everywhere, does it not? Water fills any and every empty space that is.  Christ called Himself the Light of the world. Light, too, goes everywhere, does it not?  The point is this: The Godhead is everywhere, in all ways, at all times and for always. There is not one (1) teeeenyteeeny tiny corner of anything where God is not. and where God does not claim as His own.

With all of that said, God can do what God Can do and God will do as God will do. There is no stopping Him, There is no staying Him. There is no one (1) that can step up to Him and……………anything. [SideNote: The persons who say, “When I meet God I am going to….” These persons,  I’m going to let my flesh speak for a moment….. These persons should be knocked out….their pride is off the charts. When they see God, they’ll say nothing, when they see God they’ll do nothing and when God is finished with them, they’ll be something they would rather not be].

With that written, we will (DV) say, that there be three (3) types of persons reading this article.  The first (1st) type is like King David.   David knew that God knows him and his thoughts, deeds, intents and motivations.  David was happy and glad that God knew everything about him. The second (2nd) type is like King Abimelech of Abraham and Sara. The king had a crush on Sara and planned on knowing her that night; God intervened with a threat of impotency throughout the land, if I remember correctly. God knows what is going on in the heads of each and every person; all… the…time…            ….Great is God. The third (3rd) type is unsaved and lost…lost…lost!!!

We will use two (2) of the three (3) greetings of the prophets to address both types in our article.

To the King David Type,  “Blessed art thou.”   You keep loving and enjoying God and His Presence.

To the King Abimelech Type,  “Woe unto you!  Reader, if you would rather not have God in your head, you are in dark and angry Water. My counsel to you is very simple. Be honest with God. He knows everything anyway, right?  Confess EVERYTHING before Him. Let it ALL out. Confess that and this and those things and these things….just confess to God. In the quietness of wherever, Confess it all to God and be a happier and more joy filled person.

IF you are a person who is not saved or has not been saved by this Great God, What are you waiting for.  Yes, This Great God does know your thoughts too, He knows the words you use. He knows the intents and motivations of all your actions…everyone of them.  This Great God knows YOU.  But YOU do not know Him.  That is not a good thing, Reader. If you know not God, Call for His Lordship over your life and be saved and be happy and glad that He knows you and your everything.  This Great God can be the Great God of YOU.
