“The Bad Theology Behind A Crucifix” Or “The Cross Versus The Crucifix” Or “What Does A Cross And A Crucifix Necklace Have To Say?”

“And having made peace through the [B]lood of [H]is cross…..”  (Colossians 1)

Sometimes when I see a person wearing a Cross necklace, I ask them what it means to them. This evening I did just that, I asked a man what his cross necklace means to him?  It seems that it represents a lost loved one (1). This man did not correlate his Cross necklace with Christ. This is a kin to wearing a swastica and saying it represents peace. What I mean to say is this:  the Cross has come to represent anything a person wants it to represent. This world is at enmity against the Cross.

What is the difference between a Cross necklace and a crucifix? The Cross speaks to Christ’s Passion.  The crucifix speaks to a still dead Christ.  The crucifix is a great offence to anyone who loves the Living Lord Jesus. The crucifix also tells you all you need to know about the (c)atholic church.  The crucifix tells you the (c)atholic theatre (it’s not a church) is a religion of death. What ISIS is to the body, the (c)atholic theatre is to the soul and spirit of it’s victims.

The crucifix does not allow justification by faith because the (c)atholic (c)hrist is still dead.  The (c)atholic mass also speaks to death. The (c)atholic believes their priest has the power to change the wafer and the wine into the literal….I say literal body and blood of Christ.  This dogma teaches that Christ is being sacrificed over and over and over again and again and again and again.

The crucifix says there was no resurrection as their (c)hrist is still on the Cross. The (c)atholic (c)hrist is not the Christ of the Scriptures.  The (c)atholic (c)hrist is not the Son of the Living God. The (c)atholic (c)hrist is still on the Cross and is being sacrificed each time mass is taken.
