Promotion….[cometh from God.]  (Psalm 75)

The Scriptures are full of what we wd call today, self promoters. These are they that believe they “deserve” more. We see the antithesis to this dynamic however when God is at work promoting a chosen vessel.

When God is at work, we see men like Abraham, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, the Judges, etc being promoted. Those whom God raises up know and feel their great need of God Who shaped them into His chosen vessels….”I Need Thee Every Hour.”

On the other side we have the self promoters. These include (s)atan, the non elect angels, our first (1st) parents, Pharaoh, Haman, Simon Magnus, Judas and many others.

Take a minute and re-examine the two 2 lists and see which one seems best to you.

Promotion comes from Above.
