“More Thoughts On Logic” Or “Christ-ian Faith Is Logic” Or “Christ-ians Should Never Be ‘Of Little Logic’ “

“Ye of little faith…”  (The Gospels)

When Christ asked His hearers why they worry and gave them the examples of birds and grass as being cared for by God and then told them they are greater than birds and grass was He not addressing their lack of faith?  Could He not have said unto them. Ye of little faith?” Could not the Logician in Christ have also said, “Ye of little logic?”  Methinks definitely. Therefore, when, we as, Christ-ians discuss logic are we not discussing our Faith? Our faith that finds it’s support upon an Objective source and that Source being the Word of God?  When, we as, Christ-ians discuss our faith are we not also discussing a logic that is based upon the Objective Source of God’s Word?

God’s Word is Objective because it does not respect persons.  The Word of God stands for Holiness, Truth, Righteousness, Justice, and Goodness among other things, such as Honour.  If a person finds themselves standing upon these graces then the Word of God is for them.  If a person finds themselves going against these graces, the Word of God is against them.  The Word of God will not defend a Christ-ian that does bad or change it’s stand upon all it’s graces.  The Word of God will not defend a sinner who happens to do right either, this would betray it’s holiness. Morality and ethics may praise the sinners good deed, but Scripture does not promote the sinner to saint based upon what humans consider to be good.

The Word of God stands stong. None can stay the Word, nor can one stop the Word or alter or change the Word. The Word of God is Eternal, it is Everlasting, and it changes not.  The Word of God is on no man’s side, man must be on the side of the Word of God. This is true of God, Himself.  God is on no man’s side lest that man be on God’s side.  God honours those that honour Him, but it is also true, “We love God because [H]e first loved us. My point is The Word of God is Objective and never subjective or subjected to feelings or opinions.  Likewise, Logic, by definition, is objective and never subjective or subjected to feelings or opinions.

In Scripture when Christ or Paul or any other person argues for the faith they are arguing for the spirituality of logic. This is why the proverbial “backwoods” preacher makes more sense to the common man than does the scientifically so-called professor.
This is why God chooses, what the world considers, the weak, the base and the foolish to overwhelm and defy, and confound the wise. The wise is using worldly wisdom and often time subjective or presupposed ideas to make their foolish points and the God-edu-ma-cated saint can kkep up and even overtrhow the worldy wise.  I know television portrays the Christ-ian as foolish, uneducated, ignorant, and hill-billies and the worldly and the opponents to God as wise.  However, most television or film does not represent real or what is true to life.

In other words, Christ-ian do not be intimidated by the unbelieving smart persons in this world.  We have faced off against the worldy wise many times and they are not an obstacle.  They are the mountain that is moved by our logic or faith.  We do not brag upon ourself.  Any Christ-ian who looks into the Scriptures and learns how to defy the world’s wisdom can move what only appears to be a mountain.  In Scripture we read that the mountains quake at the Word of God.  While our sovereign God can make anything shake in His Presence and cause anyone to fall to their knees and then their face, He does not often shake mountains in our time.  However the word of God is always current and contemporary.  Today the mountains are prideful humans that seek to defy God, but those faithful and logical Christ-ians, who speak forth the Word of God, move these mountains by their logic and faith!!!

When I was very young I heard my parents say that anyone who goes up against the Jehovah’s Witness must better know their Bible. i grew up thinking the Jehovah’s witness were wrong but better at defending their views than others.  Well studied Christ-ian reader, the J.W. is not an obstacle but something that will build your confidence in the abilities God has given you, given you to put forth the truth and rightness of your Christ-ian faith and prove J.W. wrong.

My point in this article is this:  Any Christ-ian who is sound in the faith will be sound in logic.  The Christ-ian who is sound in logic will find Scripture supporting your position.

The [Logos] of God became flesh so that the flesh may become spiritual and logical.

When one chooses fear and worry in the stead of faith and logic one fails themselves and God. According to the Book of Loder, Fear is about the current and present and worry is about the wake or effects of something bad.  In either case, fear and worry is the wrong choice and choice it is.  One chooses fear and worry over a godly faith and sound logic. How does worry help a situation?  Christ asks us how worry can add to our stature in any way.

The answer is of course, worry helps in no way but hurts in every way.  How does faith and logic hurt the situation?  Faith and logic never hurt the situation but only and always helps it.  Faith glorifies God, and give you experience in trials and hope grows. Logic helps you look at things from other view points and keeps nerves in control. Fear and worry call God’s sovereignty and goodness into question, this is never proper or acceptable.  Fear and worry lead to questioning God’s Providence, God’s goodness, and God’s love.  Concern that is under control can lead to an expression of faith and logical thought. Faith and logical thought will lead to honouring and glorifying God and a peace that is due to one’s trust in God’s goodness and love.

Reader, Live logic-ally and be full of Faith.

“Do You Use Logic” Or “Why Is Logic Necessary” Or “Improving One’s Logic”

“In The beginning was the [Logos]”  (John 1:1)

“The [Logos] became flesh…”  (John 1:14)

In our texts above you might have noticed we used the Word, Logos in the stead of Word.  The Word Logos can be translated Word, Reason or Logic.  Logos is typically translated into Word in most translations and we find no fault in that. The fact it is translated, Word, does not change it could also mean logic. Therefore, let us look at the importance logic.

First, let me ask you if you use logic. How often do you use logic?  The answer to the former is yes and the answer to the latter is often or always.  Some examples:
*When you wake up in the morning and you notice the ground is wet and it is the month of July, what has happened?  Correct, it has rained.
*If you enter a house and you hear an animal bark, what king of animal is it?  Correct, a dog.
*Suppose you see a person walking around in nursing attire, what do you think they do as a profession?  Correct, Nursing.

However, What if you saw only a small part of the sidewalk is wet and a balloon is laying next th the spot?  What if you enter a house, you know for a fact that there is no dog, but there is a bird?  What if you see the person wearing a nursing outfit and it is late October?  If you answer a water balloon, a barking parrot, and it is October you are again, correct.

What did you use to come to these deductions?  If you said, logic, correct AGAIN. While everyone uses logic everyday on simple deductions, everyday most people fail to use logic on the grander scale.  More examples:
*Let us say you have a friend who begins dating a person that has cheated on every “love” interest they have ever had. Yet your friend thinks it will be different this time.  If your friend using logic?  Before we answer that question, let us say your friend is able to answer the examples in our previous paragraph.  Now, is you friend using logic in her choice to date this new person?  Of course NOT.  What is your friend using? Emotions, feelings, lust but not logic.
*Let us use the same example as above but let us interchange love interest with divorcee.  Is your friend using logic in their choice to marry a many timed divorcee?  The answer is the same.

Sherlock Holmes has a quote that goes, “Logic is rare.”  C.S. Lewis asked more than fifty (50) years ago, “What are they teaching kids in these schools?”  This question was aked due to the absence of logic in schools. The quote and the question is still in effect today. Our political system is in the turmoil it is today because of a lack of logic. The left rarely uses logic but emotion and unreasonableness. The right, though they are far more logical than the left, they use unreasonableness and emotion when the left puts forth an idea.

Families are in disarray today due to a lack of logic and objective thinking. Children are being raised by parents that never learned logic or objective thinking, therefore they raise their children by emotion and subjective feeling.  In the home of subjective parenting a “Carrie White” of Stephen King is produced.  However, in a home where only objective and logical thinking is present a “Sheldon Cooper” from “Big Bang Theory” is produced.  In a single parent home, it depends upon the subjectiveness or objectiveness of the single parent that produces the child.

Am I spouting what some call, “psychobabble?”  I am not. It is inspired Scripture that teached the parent(s) to “raise [their] children in the nurture (subjective or emotional thinking) and admonition (Objective and logical thinking of the Lord).  In the Word of God we are given the Psalms and the Proverbs.  Psalms tend to reveal the heart of the Messiah and the Proverbs reveal to us His logical thought.

Why is logic important?  Logic keeps things in balance.  Logic helps us to look at all things from differing points of views. Logic helps us to be fair-minded in all things. Logic helps us to finf what is actual truth and not “truth” based on feelings or irrational thought.  Logic aids us to put forth an argument that is supported with facts and truth, and right.  Logic will allow us to put emotions in check but emotions can never help us put logic in check. Emotions can help us balance logic but it can never overwhelm it or take the lead.  It is most illogical to follow one’s heart or emotions  for that will lead to disaster, no matter what lies the romantic comedies spew.

How can you improve your logic or develop your logic.  It is rather simple.
*Study books on logic…not formal logic that deals in numbers and such but informal logic. Logic that can be used in everyday exchanges and engagements.  Logic that can help us determine a sound position and a position that can be defended with reason.
“Logic,” by Isaac Watts is invaluable and cannot be ignored or overlooked. “The  Thinking Toolbox” by the Bluedorn brothers is presented in easy to understand precepts.  “Socratic Logic” by Peter Kreeft is great. Anything by Willian Stanley Jeavons is helpful after you study the previously mentioned.
Fictional writing on Sherlock Holmes, by Doyle or “The Thinking Machine” by Jacque Futrell, who was on the Titanic when it perished. One could read “Uncle Abner” or “Hercule Poirot” novels or short stories will no doubt develop one’s logical or critical thought.
When studying the Scriptures focus on the arguments put fprth by Christ in the Gospeld or Paul in the Epistles and one’s logic will grow along with one’s faith.

Reader, we all fall to something in order to make decisions or choices or when taking a stand.  If Scriptural precepts and or logic is not our source of objectivism, emotions and subjective feeling will be.  If one is not lead by one’s brains, one will be led by one’s heart to disaster.

Godspeed.

“Beautiful And Edifying” Or “All The Greats Stumble” Or “Filled With Love And Joy”

“And Moses said unto the LORD, O my LORD, I am not eloguent…I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.”  (Exodus 4)

“These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication…”  (Acts 1)

“And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling and my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power…”  (1 Corinthians 2)

Reader,
Tonight we attended a Bible study. It was a Bible study that filled me with great joy.  I did not cry, but I had tears in my eyes. What was it that caught my spirit and and filled it with the aforementioned joy? I think I know what it was, but first a word about                Christ-ian lay-men

Christ-ian laymen were the servants of God that laid the foundations of our faith. The disciples were not formally trained nor was our Lord formally trained. The disciples were considered to be unlearned and ignorant fishermen. The Lord never called or used the formally taught. There were institutions that trained prophets and preachers.

In the Old Testament, Elisha was chosen to carry Elijah’s mantle or in other words, Elisha was enabled and allowed to put forth God’s Word when Elijah was taken up.  There was a school for the training of prophets but none of them were used by God, Elisha was hand-picked to preach the Word of God. The last sentence does not imply that God did not use any of these schooled prophets, God may have very well used the schooled prophets but not in the way he chose and utilized Elisha.  Formal training in Bible and Theology is a good path for some, but the laymen who were chosen and taught by God should never feel inadequete for their lack of formal training.

Why was I so filled with joy in the Bible Study?  I saw persons of God gathered together with the Word of God as the point, the reason for being gathered together. The Bible study leader was a man, that was humble, unschooled, but full of love and gratefulness to be able to search the Scriptures with fellow Christ-ians.  It was beautiful and the Sprit was a Certain Presence.

I love the church our Lord has built, I love the persons in the church that God made. I felt like I was a disciple in the upper room and without their/our Leader. But in that upper room was the Spirit of God.

So much love and joy.

Godspeed.

“God Of The Big Picture Part Two (2)” Or “Answering A Common Question From Unbelievers” Or “There’s So Much More Still To Come”

“And [the martyrd saints] cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost [T]hou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?”                                                                                                                                       (Revelation 6)

“As it is written, For [T]hy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”  (Romans 8)

“[A]s a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so [H]e opened not [H]is [M]outh.”                                                                                                                                               (Isaiah 53)

“How many times have believers been asked, “Why does God allow…”  or “If God is so good, why…”  Unbelievers think this is a deep question that shuts down the believer.  Some pose these questions as questions of and for the ages. These questions should not stump the Christ-ian nor shut us down.  Before we give an answer to these impertinent questions, let me say this: The Christ-ian is under no obligation to answer questions from unbelievers that are obviously asked with no real desire for an answer.

Paul says in his pastoral letters that one is not to bother with questions meant to cause strife. In the Gospels, Christ refused to answer some of the questions that were unjustly motivated by sinners. On the other hand, Peter advises us to always be prepared to answer questions regarding the hope that is within us. The Proverbs tell us that we are not to suffer a fool gladly or to humour questions that are foolishly motivated. The Proverbs also tell us to, “Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him” in 26:4 but then in 26:5, “Answer a fool  according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.”  In light of these Proverbs what are we to do?  We are to judge the intent of the question and answer or not answer according to the questioner’s intent.

After writing the above, and leaving the questions of unbelievers to the reader’s discretion, how could we answer the question of why God allows or ordains certain events. Some would answer that God does not cause certain events, but allows them to occur.  Some suggest that certain events are allowed by God because these events are the effects of the fall and are simply the reaping of a world that sows in sin. While there is truth in both of these answers, these answers do not answer fully. When persons respond with these answers they are trying to defend God, but reader, God does not need defending. We may defend and define truth but we need not defend God’s actions. God is good and God is sovereign.

In a trial a judge may disallow certain evidence from being used if it puts the defendent at an unfair advantage. This means the prosecutor cannot use certain aspects of the defendent’s past if it is not germaine to the present case. However, if the defending attorney makes the mistake of mentioning the disqualified evidence or bring something up that is not profitable to his client the prosecuting attorney may then use the previously disqualified evidence. This is analagous to God’s use of the fall and the effects of sin. God did not introduce sin or create sin but after sin was introduced God was and is free and justified in using sin and it’s effects for His ordained purposes.

Once the above is established the answer to the unbeliever’s questions of why does God allow X is simply, “it is what it is” or The God of all creation is the God of the BIG picture.  Our God is God of the Big Picture.  He and He Alone knows the end from the Beginning because He is the First and the Last, He is the Beginning and the End. the Alpha and the Omega, the Author and Finisher of all things…that will work together for our good, because we are called according to His purpose and we are beloved by God and we love God. If we are to walk in the spirit of peace and with the Spirit of Peace we must also be the godly that see the BIG picture. We must be those that walk by faith and not by sight or live according to our senses.

To live according to our senses or feelings is certain to leave us tossed to and fro. To follow our heart is foolish, the heart must follow the Christ-like mind that loves God with all it’s strength. It is true we should use our God-given senses to worship God, but faith over-rides senses and feeling, we are to walk by faith and not sight or other senses. The Scriptures tell us to “Taste and see that God is good,”  what does this mean? It can be applied spiritually and literally.

I like the literal application. When one sits down to a meal one should first give thanks and ask God’s blessing upon the meal and then we should consider the goodness of God as we taste and enjoy the food. When one bites in to a Resse’s peanut butter cup, one should think God is so good.  Taste is an extra, our food could be bland and tasteless but it is not…this testifies to God’s goodness.  We see with our eyes that the heaven’s declare God’s great glory.  We hear with our ears the written and preached Word of God and we hear the testimonies of other as to God’s intercession in their lives. With the sense of touch we feel pleasure and pain, we feel our humanity and think of God, Who became flesh and dwelt among us for a time. The sense of smell can cause us or allow us to remember events of the past.

The above speaks to the five (5) senses given us by God. All persons have these senses lest they be challenged regarding their senses as blindness or deafness. In John nine (9) we see Christ heal a blind man and He tells those present and us that this man was blinded from birth so that he might be given sight through Christ’s compassion and that is an example of the BIGGER picture.

In the life of David there is an event that is truly horrendous and cannot be excused. David sought food from a priest of God.  The priest gave David the shewbread from the sanctuary and he gave David the sword of Goliath. (k)ing (s)aul hears of this and he orders his men to kill the priest and all the other priests. The soldiers would not hearken to this ill advised command. However, Doeg, an Edomite, a descendent of Esau, whom God hates, accepted (s)aul’s charge and murdered all of the priest as well as the women and children and the livestock, something (s)aul did not do when God commanded him, in his dealings with Agag prior to this event.

If ever the question of why did God allow this was justified, this was the time.  Why would God allow over eighty-five (85) of His own priests to be killed and in addition all the women and children? Did God allow this?  Did God ordain this? Was this part of God’s plan? The answer is, yes. How did (s)aul learn of the prestly aid to Jesse’s son, David? Doeg, the Edomite, told (s)aul of the aid. Doeg is one (1) of the persons in Scripture that is reprobate. This man occasioned the death of all the priests and all the women and children and the livestock. Not only did he play on (s)aul’s self-centered paranoia, he killed the people, himself.

The question is why did God allow this and why does God allow things today?  Another question is why did not someone stop Doeg, the Edomite, whom God hates. The answer can be given in seventeen words  words, (17) “Now a certain man of the servants of [(s)]aul was there that day, DETAINED BEFORE THE LORD…” In other words, God put Doeg, the Edomite, who God hates, in the picture.

A word on perspective: What happened that day, “which the LORD hath made?” Were so many persons of God killed by a sychophan-tick psychopath or were the persons of God released and received into paradise? The BIG PICTURE demands the latter. This life is a vapour, just a moment in eternity. Yes, Christ-ians have been martyred. Yes, Christ-ians, our family, are being persecuted all around the world, but it is a moment, a moment in God’s Great and Grand BIG Picture. In our Scripture texts above, we are told Christ was led as a sheep to slaughter AND we also learn that we too are to be sheep led to the slaughter all day long and it is to be in His Name.

The “Official” Christ-ian perspective or standard of operational procedure on suffering and persecution is this:
“Though [H]e slay me, yet will I trust Him”   and   “For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”  And, “If it so be, our God [W]hom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace and [H]e will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou has set up.”

Godspeed.

“The Common Denominator Between Buddha And Mohommad Is Hell” Or “The Hindu (d)eities Never Existed” Or “Christ Lived, Died, And Rose Again And Lives Forever!!!”

“…[K]nowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day…”  (Romans 13)

Allow me to acknowledge the harshness of our titles.  Let me acknowledge the Scriptures that teach us that we ought not to be offensive for the sake of being offensive. Let me also acknowledge the Scripture that is above that tells us The time of our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. Allow me to infer from the fact that our salvation is nearer also means to condemnation of others is nearer as well!!!  Therefore, we are not being offensive for the sake of being offensive but we are being offensive for the sake of other’s condition of nearing destruction and eternal torment in the fires of Hell.  Let me acknowledge that our message should be offensive, hence the armour of light and the whole armour of God that is needed to protect ourselves while being offensive for the sake of souls that are coming nearing to their condemnation than when you and I first believed!!!

God loves you isn’t working, folks Or rather, let me correct myself our presentation of God’s love to the deceived isn’t working so well anymore and maybe our presentation never did…that is to say our presentation of God’s love without the background of God’s holiness, righteousness, anger, and wrath.  In the past, preachers of sound faith, preached the law of God, the anger of God, the sinfulness of man, and God’s hatred of sinfulness and ALL workers of iniquity!!!  These Biblical truths moved those that were full of sin and those being filled with all unrighteousness. These that were living in sin and under the penalty of sin, while pleasuring in that very sin were shaken out of it by the fact that God’s veri righteous and holy hate was about to fall upon these persons and their families.

The persons that were under God’s wrath, anger, holy hatred were shaken, terrified and then fell down before God in the condition of being undone and filled with sin and covered in sin and pleading for His grace, His mercy, His forgiveness, and His guidance in a new way and in a new walk in His service and under His reign of love and righteousness.

In other words it’s “high time” to quit smiling and padding the backs of sinners and others in false and damnable religions.  It is “high time” to wake up and wake others us, it’s “high time” to say, “Mohammad is in Hell, Buddha is in Hell, the gods of the Hindu’s never existed, Jehovah’s witnesses are condemned liars of (s)atan’s spotted and blemished flocks, and Mormons are blinded by the ridiculousness of their third (3rd) Testament.  It’s “high time” to shout Christ Is Risen and all other religious figures are fallen and have been cut down and are being tormented in Hell’s fire and their deceived and deceiving followers shall follow them.  It is “high time!!!”  As our salvation comes nearer and nearer, their condemnation comes nerarer and nearer as well, lest they repent and believe!!!

I’m not saying every believer should run out with this message without being protected with the Armour of Light, I am saying: we that are veteran witnesses, we that are established and chosen soldiers/witnesses to Christ must also witness to the EXCLUSIVITY of Christ. Truth be told, I may not even be talking about convincing others to believe and be saved as our focus, that would be great, but what i’m talking about is establishing that Christ is Risen and all others have fallen…I’m saying Christ is the Way to the Father.

Buddha, Hindu beliefs, and Mohammad are the ways to destruction and torment.   I’m saying that we must stand and state, “There is none other [N]ame given under [H]eaven, among men whereby we must be saved.”  I’m saying it is “high time” to confess, profess, proclaim, preach, teach, shout, that Christ is the Exclusive Way and Only Name whereby men can be saved…we must also confess, profess, proclaim, preach, teach, and shout that this necessitates and nullifies all other ways to the Father, to peace, and eternal life, and everlasting peace.

If God so chooses to save some according to and in light of this exclusive truth, that is His business, out business is to preach EXCLUSIVITY. Not that Christ excludes those of other faiths and ways but that Christ IS THE EXCLUSIVE WAY TO WHAT THEY DESIRE.

Moses, Gideon, Josiah, the three (3) Hebrew men, Paul and others were all iconoclasts, that means they cut down, mowed over, destroyed all other graven images, false gods, and damning ideologies.  The Ark of the Covenant took out Dagon the false God.

In proclaiming Christ, we must condemn and shut down all other religious ideologies, whether it be works, religions, representatives of damning religions, and thus anything, other than Christ must fall.  This is what ISIS is doing, is it not?  This is what the leftist mindset is doing when they tear down symbols of faith and history, are they not?  Did Paul not tell us to cast down the strong holds of man’s imagination and bring their imaginations, their mindsets, and their beliefs under the obedience of Christ?  I think he did.  Did not the Apostles knock down the dead religion of the Jews, They did.

What was it that gave them the boldness to make these claims and to destroy these idolotrous ideologies? What is it that gives us the boldness to state these truth, to stand by these truths, and if needed, die for these truths? One thing and Only One Thing….

……The Resurrection  and the Life of Christ gives us this boldness and Only the Resurrection. Allow me to logically show the evidence of the Empy tomb with one single question.  Where is the Body?  Either Christ rose from the dead and verified, validated, gave veracity to all His past claim and prophesies of the future or someone took the Body.

Who would have taken the Body?  Would the Pharisees or Sadducees or other political or religious opponents of Christ take the Body?  Of course not…that would prove Christ’s claims even if Christ rose not.  It was these parties that wanting Roman guard stationed at the tomb.  Therefore it could not have been the above.  Did the Apostles steal the Body away?  I don’t think so, the guards were posted.  Would the Roman powers steal the Body, of course not, they wished none of this happened and they certainly wouldn’t do anything to incite amd encourage the followers of Christ’s new way.  So, reader, where is the Body of Christ? Logic and systematic decuction knocks down any theory of the Body being stolen.

Once you eliminate all possibilities, whatever remain, no matter how improbable or impossible it may seem…it must be…it must be the truth.  Therefore, Reader, Christ rose again!!!  Therefore, Reader, Christ is risen!!!

Other evidence?  Five-hundred (500) men saw Christ alive over the course of forty (40) days.  The Apostles that saw Christ lived lives according to Christ’s Words, and Christ’s Way….unto death.  No man dies for a lie or a doubtable premise.  Even a man of the counsil that opposed Christ said, leave it alone, if it be not of God it will die, but if it be of God it shall live.  Reader, Christ-ianity lives because Christ lives.

All religious ideologies are death cults that lead to eternal condemnation in Hell with their lying leaders. It is only Christ-ianity that professes, puts forth, and proves all the claims of it’s Founder, it’s Creator, Author, it’s Lord and it’s Saviour.

Christ’s Resurrection and witnessed Ascension negates, nullifies, and necessitates the destruction, the dismissal, and the dispatchment of all other religions of imagination and their deceived and deceiving leaders and founders.

The graves of Buddha, Mohammad, and yes, King David are established; The Grave, the Tomb of Christ is established as well…..it has been established and it is EMPTY.

Reader, Christ Lives and loves, this means so shall we live and love.  This also means all other ways are death and destruction. This is the message of Easter. This is the message of Christ-ianity and this is the message sent from Heaven in the Person of Christ.

“Definition Of Biblical Love” Or “Love > Like” Or “Kindness Should Not Be Sacrificed In The Name Of Love”

“But the greatest of these is [love]”  (! Corinthians 13)

“…love your enemies…”  (Matthew 5)

“Let love be without dissimulation…”  (Romans 12)

What is it to love one’s enemies?  How can one love one’s enemies? Is it even possible to love one’s enemies?  What kind of person loves their enemies?  Wouldn’t loving an enemy betray weakness or foolishness?

In this world the thought of loving an enemy is foolish, weak, and one would wonder why bother loving someone who hates you or opposes you or shows no love to you. The truth is these questions makes sense…to a lost person and they make sense to the Christ-ian because we were once lost.

Before we go deeper into this study, let me preface this article by saying one cannot use loving as an excuse for not being kind to others. Let me explain my point by telling you something that happened to me and something I learned.

We have preached and taught for years that one need not like a person in order to love them or show them Christ-like love.  I taught this once in a school’s chapel time. We told them that they need not like a fellow student in order to love them. After this a teacher at this school started saying that the doctrine of loving someone and not liking them is wrong and foolish.  This teacher said this often and repeatedly to the point that my daughters felt like the teacher was attacking them because of what I had taught in chapel some time back.

My daughters NEVER want me to interceed on their behalf when something is amiss. However, one time they did. They actually wanted me to confront the teacher that continued to speak against my teaching. I contacted the school’s principle and then pastor to let them know my plans of contacting this teacher.  They both told me to do what I needed to do.

The book of Proverbs tells us that it is a folly to answer a matter before hearing it out.  Reader I was about to fall into folly. I scheduled a meeting with the teacher and we set down and I spoke to him in a very direct tone and asked him to explain himself and why he has targeted my daughters for something I said.  It was tense.

This teacher that I saw as a bully, betrayed himself as a tenderhearted servant of Christ that has been misunderstood.  I betrayed myself as a man of folly that had answered a matter, in my mind, before hearing all the evidence. Instead of questioned this man in a spirit of brotherly love, I contfronted him in the spirit of accusation.

The man, the tenderhearted and good mansat back in his seath and put his hands on his head and said, ” I never meant to make your daughters feel that, I never thought about your message in chapel when I said what I said.  He continued to explain and I cut him off and said, “that’s find, you’ve explained and everything is done. I’m sorry for charging you as I did without more information,” and we hugged and all was fine.

This teacher’s reason for saying what he said about loving and not liking made perfect sense and I learned much. When this man was in school, kids would be nasty to him and others and would tell him they had to love him but not like them and this was their justification for nastiness. There is never a justification for nastiness or abusing one’s popularity to hurt and scar someone else. “Mean girls,”  “Popular kids,”  “Jocks,” and teachers and coaches that turn their head to bullying, etc., that abuse their status to exploit the unpopularity of others are the cause, are the reason that others kids go to gun shops, buy guns, and shoot their oppressors and innocent kids in school. However, that is not politically correct so strike that from the record….or not.

One cannot excuse meanness, nastiness, physical giftedness, or abuse of their popularity to hurt others and then say, “Well, maybe I’m not the nicest to X but I would give X a glass of water in Christ’s Name.”  This does not pass any Christ-ian character test  or excuse any means of evil or cruelty and kids can certainly be evil and cruel.

Onto our definition of Christ-ian love or loving one’s enemies….the what, the how and the why of it.

The What of loving an enemy:
First of all, we are enemies to no man. If there is any enmity between us and others it is on their part and not ours. This is the first thing we must understand. The next thing we must understand is,  we are not required to hate those that hate us.  The Christ-ian is not the person that returns evil with evil. The Christ-ian is the person that over comes evil with good.  To be clear, we do not reward evil with good, we overcome evil with good. Christ tells us to love our enemies and how to do it. Christ-ian love is defined as doing right, doing good, and being kind to all…all…all others regardless of their person or personality or their ways or their attitude or actions torward you. This is the what of Christ-ian or Christ-like love.

The How of loving enemies:
Christ explains the how of loving the enemy in His sermon from the mount.
* “And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.”
* “Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.”
* “[B]less them that curse you…”
* “[D]o good to them that hate you…”
* “[P]ray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you…”

The Why of loving enemies
“[So] that ye may be the children of your Father which is in [H]eaven…”
* “For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye?”
* “And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others?”
* “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is [H]eaven is perfect.”

In Summary:
This may sound cold, but it is right and proper.  To love one’s enemy, one must know the enemy is merely a unit, A piece of the puzzle of life, the person is not the issue or the important aspect of loving one’s enemies, but the precept itself is important. We are not saying the person is not important because persons are always important for they bear God’s Image. I’m talking more of perspective and reason behind loving enemies. and the answer of how to love an enemy when loving an enemy does not make sense to us or we find it hard to fulfill the law of Christ, the new commandment of Christ, the Royal law, fulfilling the second table of the law.

The Christ-ian must look past the person and l;ook to the precept and here is the paradox, at some point you will learn to look past the precept and look at the person. An analogy from tv.  There was a show called “House MD.” The titular character was a genius of medicine annd human behaviour. He was able to help persons that others could not. One reason this character was so successful in his calling was he looked not at the patient, but the problem or the puzzle of the mysterious malady. This speaks to the success of Sherlock Holmes as well.

The Christ-ian that finds it difficult to love an enemy can be successful by following this pattern.  When we look at the Lord Jesus and His love what do we see?  How did He demonstrate His love?  Christ would demonstrate God’s love and power by showing kindness and healing others. However, it is rare that Christ ever had any further relations with those He healed.  There are a few cases, but generally speaking, Christ helped, healed…loved and moved on.  Christ did not stick around and become involved in every life of those He helped. He would say, “Go, and sin no more.” and they were gone.  He would say, “Go, and shew thyself to the priest” and they were gone. He would say, “Thy faith hath made thee whole” and then they were gone.

Do you see what love is, how love can work and why we are commanded to love all others?  There is one more reason we are to love our enemies, “But God commendeth [H]is love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”  This another why we are to love an enemy. Another how is to die to self wants, and self wills, and self pride and promotion, and position.

Godspeed.

“Abortion Is Murder Period” Or “It’s Life Whether You Call It A Baby Or A Fetus” Or “The Universe Was Created By Non-Life But A Living Egg And A Living Sperm Is not Life” Or ” It’s More Stupid Than Illogical”

“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.  (Jeremiah 1)

A preacher will never run out of messages or sermons to preach because the Word of God is inexhaustable.  Scripture being inexhaustable is not the only reason the preacher will never run out of message. The wickedness of this world and it’s depraved inhabitants will always provide material for preaching and proclaiming.

Today, I read a post from my brother on FB.  This post said something like, how ironic it is that Planned Parenthood is planning to protest guns in order to save the lives of children. Yeah, reader, take a minute and think about that. The post my brother re-posted called it irony and I suppose it could be considered ironic, but I think a better description would be a blatant and blinded display of arch-hypocrisy. I responded by saying that this protest is similar to a narcisist condemning narcisism and not realizing the hypocrisy of his whole existence.

Another person replied to my brother’s post by saying…..get this, “How many times do I have to say it, Planned Parenthood is not an abortion clinic.”  Her… i’m going to use the words, forgive me.  Her comment is so stupid and idiotic. She is saying it is not an abortion clinic because it provides other beneficial services. Her argument, if it could be called an argument is a kin to saying MacDonald’s isn’t a hamburger joint because it serves coffee and ice cream in addition to hamburgers.

This statement is going to be very general but it will be able to stand as largely true and valid. Most pro death-mills, most pro death mongers, most pro baby murder advocates are also atheistic and believe in evolution.  Now watch this…  These pro baby murder proponents believe, religiously, that the universe was cause by a great explosion of events.  They believe our entire universe was cause by chance and came from a non-life source. However, they advocate for the position that a living egg from a woman and a living sperm from a male does not constitute life. Did you see it?  Did you see the stupidity and idiocy?

Another generalization, but largely proveable, is that these same pro-death persons believe the person who believes in the death penalty and is pro-life is a contradiction. These pro-baby killing advocates cannot see a distinction between abortion, the murder of an innocent life and the justified killing of a murderer.  If you don’t believe me ask someone you know that is pro baby murder, ask them if abortion and capital punishment are mutually exclusive and they will answer in the affirmitive, in other words, they will say a person is not consistent if they hold a pro life and pro capital punishment position.

Human behaviour is a very interesting but ultimately a very dark study matter. Aperson in this world should not be considered a critical or sound thinker if they believe in the basic goodness of man.  The persons that say, “I never thought X would be capable of ….” are blind persons either leading other blind persons or being led by another blind person. Every person alive is capable of anything, especially if they be lost.

The sweetest looking old lady could be a murderer, research The Wests, a serial killing elderly couple in England. Children are capable of the most horrific of crimes. Many children would test as psycopaths when given the test, research it and see. There are two (2) cases in China of young children, now free and there where-abouts unknown, who killed other children.

A young boy killed another young boy, this young viper wanted to emulate the Zodiac killer from sixties (60’s) America. The young Zodiac wannabe dismembered the young victim, put his head on a pike in front of an elementary school and hid the other dismembered parts in places that would provide the greatest shock value. The young killer…murderer rather, sent taunting letters to the police, ala the Zodiac. The other was a young girl who followed another young girl into a class room and slit her victims throat because she said something mean to her earlier. Humanity is not “basically good,” but intrinsically and innately evil.

Do not think me jaded or discouraged. I am neither.  The facts are the facts and it is what it is, right?  The above simply proves the position and truths found in God’s Word.  I’m not saying that every person is hiding a Mr. or Mrs. Hyde inside. What I am saying that persons, especially unsaved persons, when pushed to their limits will turn.  A person, especially the lost will eat others when hungry enough. History has proven this more than once. Pigs will go wild after three days on the loose and unfed. People may take a little longer but they too will turn.

To prove my point, I simple point out that persons with great power can abuse that power. Persons with nothing and no power can also abuse their condition by harming others. You see either extreme can produce the same. The leftist mindset thinks that poverty and poor education produces criminals. Yet, a defense lawyer, a few years ago, used the argument of affluence for his young criminals defense.  In other words the liar..err, lawyer’s argument was the parants spoiled the child so much that he thought he was above the law. Reader, I’m not making this stuff up, do the research yourself.

Another argument is the sociopath and the spoiled.  A person can be “made” a sociopath due to his or her upbringing or lack thereof. A spoiled rotten viper can also become  sociopathic due to his parents never disciplining their little honey-pie. In Scripture, Absolom’s upbringing was implied as the cause of his betrayal and crime. Absolom was the son of King David and King David never did that which would displease young Absolom.

It may seem I have gotten off track. Instead of the article being about abortion it turned into an article on human depravity and human atrocity. But really and truly, is not the former and the latter the same creature?

Another point I would like to state is the inaccuracy of labeling humans that perpertrate great crimes as monsters. Humans that perpetrate great crimes are humans perpetrating great crimes. Society portrays these criminals as monsters because persons want to distance themselves from the atrocities produced by everyday persons. It’s a kin to a husband who murders his wife and then refers to his dead wife as her and she instead of using the name. It’s an attempt to disassociate one’s self from the ugliness of reality.

It is written, our Lord Jesus, “needed not that any should testify of man: for [H]e knew what was in man.”  Likewise, the same can be said of the Christ-like. The person that is seeking Christ-likeness and Christ-mindedness need not be told humanity is basically good for s/he “[knows] what is in man.”

“Identity Politics And Identity Christ-ianity” Or “A Person Does Not Nullify Truth Or Make A Position Proper” Or “Identity Politics And Identity Christ-ianity Are For SlOOOoooowww Thinkers”

“For while one saith, I am of Paul, and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?”                                                                                                                                  (1 Corinthians 3)

The context of the above passage deals with new believers, who were choosing camps based upon the identity of a preacher. The new believers were basing their foundation of faith upon the persons of Paul, Apollos, Peter, and Christ. This is a divisive dynamic. The dynamic would be something like this: “I came to the faith by Paul,” one might say, but another would say, “You came to the faith through Paul, that’s great, but I came to the faith through Christ, Himself.” The thought would be one is a better believer based upon the person they came to the faith by.

Paul charged them with carnality.  Paul’s meaning in this passage was the truth of the faith was based in the truth of God and upon the Work of Christ.  He was frustrated that these newer believers were already causing divisions based upon the preacher that preached the truths of God to them.  Paul condemned this way of thinking as it was carnal, divisive and destruction.

The same is true in the realm of worldly politics and todays Christ-ianity.  It is child-like how many individuals base their vote on the name of a political contender. This is made apparent when news pundits ask voters why they’re voting for a certain candidate and why specifically they oppose the other candidate.  Certainly the educated voter can answer this but so many others cannot.

It has been my view for a long time that a new system of voting should be adopted.  My system would be very simple.  The voter would walk into a voting booth, they would be given the political and moral views of the candidates. The candidate’s past voting record would be written in black on white and the voter would make a decision based on the information given.  The name of the candidate would not be given nor would the gender or race. This would shorten the political season and would eliminate voting for a name and not policies.  No one would be fooled by the candidates promises because his or her past voting record would be made available.

The problem with this, if a problem it would be, would be far less persons would cast a vote.  This would be a good thing, in my opinion and thinks me, my opinion is correct on this matter. This would eliminate voting for a person based upon gender and minorities voting on a candidate based on color or race. This would eliminate racists and men and women voting against a candidate that is of another gender or race. Another thing that would be eliminated is the divisiveness of politics.

Candidates would be voted for based upon their history, policies, and world views. Voters would not be distracted by identities of candidates or all the non essentials of current day politics.  It could also eliminate persons running for office that have ulterior motives. It would eliminate current politicians from running if they know their past voting records would be made bare.  In this system of voting politicians like Obama and others of his ilk would never have been voted into office. Trump, if his name and identity would have been kept from identity voters, he would have been voted in with a landslide, methinks.

The point is, a candidate should be voted in based upon record, character, world view and policies. The candidates policies would be compared and contrasted with their past voting record and this would also make clear the canidate’s character. The current political system is so foul and full of criminals and liars and this should not surprise the Christ-ian. The state of politics only gives veracity to our Scriptures. The current condition of American politics should make clear why we are told not to get entangled in the affairs of this world if we would be good soldiers of Christ, Who chose us to be just that, good soldiers.

The Christ-ian refusing to be entangled in the affairs of this world does not mean we should not be involved in the affairs of this world. Entangled and active are different. A Christ-ian should not get tied up in the affairs of this world or get tied into mental and moral knots by this world. The Christ-ian should vote as God would have them vote. The Christ-ian could comment on the state of politics as Christ did when He was on this earth. If the Christ-ian is going to be active in politics, s/he must be educated on the policies and not the identities.

One should vote for policies and records and not persons. One should stand for truth and right and not for party or persons. The Christ-ian is called upon and commanded to judge all things and to do so righteously. To vote based upon identity or personal likes is not judging righteously.

What is worse than the above is identity Christ-ianity.
I remember a little boy saying to an evangelist that the evangelist was his favourite preacher, the little boy’s father included. I can imagine how the little boy’s dad must have felt. The evangelist was quick to rebuke the child by saying one must not have favourites in the faith. Like in politics the preacher is not the draw but his doctrine, positions, and views are. I’m not saying the preacher and his person is not important, it is but his personality should not be the attraction.

For Catholics, the pope is the faith, for fundementalists, the preacher is the faith and the attraction in many cases. To prove my point, many persons leave a church when the leadership changes, though the doctrine remains similar. I can remember a church I was a part of many years ago blew up due to a charismatic element sneaking in and influencing and seducing the aged preacher, who had recently seen his wife exit her tabernacle.

The split was ugly to say the least. Expletives were flying and things came very, very close to physicality. In this breakdown there was a family that spent twenty-five (25) years in that church and this family left the church after the corruption of the charismatics came about.  This family not only left this local church but they left THe church altogether. Brethren, these things ought not to be. I know not the condition of that family today. God knoweth. This is an example of a person’s foundation being in the church or a preacher.

Churches like Osteen and other celebrity Christ-ian pastors is the attraction for many of their flock. This is bordering upon idolatry. Identity Christ-ianity works both ways. When some persons hear the names Calvin, Augustine, Luther, Lewis, etc. those persons stop listening.

I remember preaching all five (5) points of what is labeled Calvinism or TULIP in a fundementalist church. There in the front row were persons, good persons, that think Calvin and (s)atan are synonymous. However, as I preached the doctrines of grace, IE. Calvinism/TULIP the persons in the front row amen’d me many times. If I had identified my subject as Calvinism, these same persons would have put their heads down and prayed for me as they would see me as a heretick.

By the way, TULIP is an anagram for
T-otal depravity.
U-nconditional election of persons to salvation.
L-imited atonement; Christ lived, died and lives again solely for the elect.
I-rresistable grace.
P-erseverance of the saint.

I would be remiss if I did not address the cults in the guise of Christ-ianity. Cults such as Jehovah’s Witness, Mormonism, and Catholicism hold some truth but the false doctrines they push far out weighs whatever truth they hold forth. The false doctrines these cults or religions hold are dangerous to the soul, their doctrines have caused many to be damned.  I know, I know, sin is what causes the soul to be damned but the teaching and preaching of false doctrine is sin, is it not? This truth and their lies and damnable heresies is that which keeps these cults and religions out of bounds, in terms of fellowship.

I understand that denominations have become a necessary evil as there is so much religious ideology in this world. For instance, how does a Christ-ian family, that happens to be traveling on a Sunday, choose a place of worship? How does this family know what doctrine they are going to hear? Unfortunately by identity Christ-ianity. Due to the false teaching and preaching in this world, identity Christ-ianity has become necessary, but this identity Christ-ianity must not be founded upon a person. Paul tells us that false religions are needed so that the true faith might shine the more.

Jehovah’s Witnesses deny the deity of Christ and the Mormons say Christ and Lucifer are brothers and both cults deny the reality and eternality of Hell. These denials only cause the true doctrine of Christ’s deity and the doctrine of eternal hell all the more sound.

I suppose Christ-ianity could be considered a cult. However, true Christ-ianity is following the right and true God, the right and true God Who became flesh and dwelt among us in the very Person of Jesus Christ, Lord and Saviour. [SideNote: The word cult is short for culture, hence the cult or culture of Christ or Christ-ianity].

To summarize: The Christ-ian must not get entangled in identity politics or identity Christianity. Identity politics and identity Christ-ianity are for slow thinkers and group thinkers and not for independent, critical and Christ-like thinkers. The only Identity we should be enraptured by is Christ and never a preacher, teacher, or politician.

Godspeed.

“Another Litmus Test” Or “The Return Of The Lord Jesus” Or “The Second Coming Of Christ”

“Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.”                                                                                                                                      (Matthew 26)

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and [H]e that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness [H]e doth judge and make war.”                                                                                                                                    (Revelation 19)

There are a number of events that occur in Scripture that have eternal effects.  These events include the parting of the Red Sea, the death and Resurrection of Christ, Pentacost, and the divinely scheduled return of Christ to this earth. As the first (1st) four (4) are past, the Return is yet future. The Return of Christ is the hope, the blessed hope of all Christ-ians or is it?

We have heard a number of persons say they would rather Christ’s Return be put on hold so they can experience the water-marks of life such as seeing children married, grand-children born and growing up, etc. These persons are not Scripturally sound or even Scripturally based and certainly not Christ-centered. Did not Christ tell us that if we love others more than Him, we are not worthy of Him? Does that mean those who love others more than Him, they are not worthy of His Sacrifice? I know no one is intrinsically worthy but He counts us worthy and His death and Resurrection make us worthy persons, for the citizens of Heaven must be fitted and worthy.

The fact that some persons want Christ’s Return to be held off betrays that very fact of their very worldliness. This is worldliness by definition and Scripture states that if a person is friends with the world, he is no friend to God, in fact, he is God’s enemy. What does this say about these persons that want Christ to hold off His Second Coming?  Are these Christ-ians Christ’s enemies?  They would say no, but Scripture says otherwise. If I as a husband and father went on a long trip and after that long trip I was traveling home, if my wife and children did not look forward to my homecoming with excitement and anticipation, wouldn’t you think they love me not?  The same is true with the Return of Christ.

How can the Christ-ian, a person called after the Name of Christ, not look forward to Christ’s coming back? This makes no sense. How can a Christ-ian not love the thought of His Return? How can a Christ-ian not long for His arrival upon the terrestrial? Methinks a person cannot be a Christ-ian if they do not long for the Return of the Lord Jesus or they are really Biblically illiterate if a faithful and true Christ-ian can really be Biblically illiterate.

After the Resurrection the next great doctrine packed with great hope and excitement is the Return. One who is made alive by the Resurrection of Christ should be made lively by the Return. The Christ-ian should be; the Christ-ian must be animated and influenced for righteousness in answer to the Hope of Christ’s return. The Return of our Lord is a truth that should cause the Christ-ian to live a holy life as Christ is Both Holy and Life. The truth that Christ will return in and with great power should empower the Christ-ian to live an abundant life.

The person that professes Christ-ianity but prefers Christ remain on the Throne is a professor only and not a real Christ-ian, how can one be real if one does not desire Christ? This seems to me to be a litmus test and a non negotiable. The person that is not longing for the Lord is a person that is not indwelt by the Spirit of Christ.  The Spirit of Christ Who lives within the Christ-ian causes the anticipation and excitement that abounds in the Christ-ian when the doctrine of Christ’s Return is thought upon or spoken of. Persons who do not look for, long for and love the truth of Christ’s arrival is none of His. A crown of life is promised to the Christ-ian who looks and longs for Him. This is a crown I look forward to casting at the Feet of the King of kings.

Even so, Lord Jesus, come.

“Baiting Is Nothing New” Or “Don’t Fall For It” Or “It’s Just Another Trick Of (s)atan” And “A Word On Wicked Race Baiters, J. Jackson, A. Sharpton, And L. Farrakahn”

“The Pharisees also came unto [H]im, tempting [H]im…”  (Matthew 19)

Being baited by one’s enemy is nothing new.  (s)atan baited Eve with his questioning her on the veracity of God’s Word. Christ was baited by His enemies as an everyday event.  The Lord was baited by (s)atan, the Pharisees, the Sadducees, the Herodians, scribes, and lawyers. The devil and his earthly fools, err, tools use the same tricks today.

The devil uses race baiters and other types of baiters. Before we go on, let me say this. There is a difference between baiting and testing or using wisdom to bring some evil into the light. Prosecutors use logic a person’s lies in order to prove guilt.  Police will use tactics in order to catch a criminal red handed. While this can be considered a species of baiting, it is for a righteous purpose.  The baiting we are speaking to is baiting someone for a wicked reason.

Today those that make their living by race baiting decent persons are wicked and powerful. The homosexual agenda is also known to bait as a tactic of wickedness.  When the homosexual couple goes into a bakery, one of hundreds of bakeries, and cause a legal nightmare for the baker because the baker would rather not support the homosexual movement or agenda by providing their services, they are baiting the baker.

Call me a conspiracy theorist but methinks that there is a new opportunity for the left to bait the faithful. Coming soon there will a live stage rendition of  “Jesus Christ Superstar.” You might ask, how are they going to bait the faithful?  It is a race bait.  The star of the play is John Legend playing Jesus Christ.  John Legend is a black musician and very talented on the piano.  The problem is not that Legend is black, the problem is Jesus Christ isn’t!!!

I’ve been in black churches before and in some of the churches they have pictures of a black Jesus. Wait, I suppose this is where I need to say I’m not a racist person, anyone that knows me knows this to be true, my children were raised to be color blind because a skin color is not something one can judge another person by. Now that that is out of the way, why would a black man be cast as Jesus Christ and not a Jewish man?  This is a new trend in Hollowierd, remakes of movies are being cast with gender changes and ethnic changes and for what reason? Are they trying to replace the old movies that had white men in the lead roles? What is the purpose? More importantly, what is the intentions behind this trend?

The first person or writer or political commentator or religious commentator that brings up the fact that the casting of John Legend is strange will be villified and labeled a racist and a bigot.  The term racist has had it’s definition changed by the leftist mindset.  In my day a racist was a person who prejudged a person according to their skin color and sought to make life as difficult as possible for that person.  The racist would put a burning cross in the front yard of a black person. The racist would spew vile rhetoric toward and about the black person. The racist was an ignorant and wicked person that should be overlooked in society as a person of ill intent for anyone not like him.  Neo Nazis and white supremicist were known as racist and they are. These persons and societies are a blight on the human race and not just the black race.

The definition of racist has become anyone that notices race or speaks negatively about a person who happens to be black. Those that opposed Obama were called racist. I opposed Obama and still oppose Obama and it has nothing to do with his skin color. It has everything to do with his politics and world view and his attempt to destroy America. I oppose Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and Farrakahn not because they are black but because they are wicked and they are race baiters and the destroyers of men’s live and businesses. If anyone is racist it is those three.  Farrakahn is the most hateful toward the white race.  This devil is on tape speaking about destroying the white man.  Jackson and Sharpton are in it for the money. Jackson is afraid of his own.  Did he not say that he is happy when he turns around on the street and sees three (3) white boys behind him and not three (3) black boys? This is not something that would cross my mind but it does his. Methinks jackson and Sharpton are greedy money grabbing, headline grabbing race baiters but farrakahn is another story all together.  Farrakahn is in it for the hate of the white man and the Jew.  I would be classified and labeled as a racist for pointing these things out as well as pointing out that Jesus Christ is a Jew of light to olive colored skin like other Jews and John Legend is a man of dark skin.

I will prove my point with questions. Would Hollywood cast a white man in the role of the wicked “prophet” Mohommad?  Would Hollywood cast a white woman in a remake of  “The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman?”  What about “Roots” did they cast any white men in the roles of slaves?  Of course not and I wouldn’t want them to, why?  It isn’t historically correct!!! Mohammad should be played by a person of middle eastern descent, Mrs. Jane Pittman should be played by a black woman, and the cast of “Roots” was cast with black actors. So why is it okay to cast a black man in the role of Jesus Christ when Jesus Christ was not a black man. Should a woman be cast as Peter or John?

What is at the root of all this recasting with gender and race changes?  I can’t say for sure but methinks it has to do with an anti-Christ-ian white and straight man agenda. Methinks it also has to do with inclusivity.  This world hates exclusivity in any fashion. We reported recently that an annual father-daughter dance was canceled due to the fact it excluded too many others. One would have to be blind if one does not see or foresee that this hatred and rejection of exclusivity is heading for the Church.

The Church, by divine design, is a holy man led body.  The Scriptures are clear as to the traits one must have in order to serve in a local New Testament church.  One of the traits is a husband of one wife. Women and homosexuals are therefore excluded from leading a church in Christ’s Name.  They may have their gay church but it is in the name of another (j)esus and not the Biblical Lord Jesus.  The black church can have their black (j)esus too, but it is not accurate and it is another (j)esus as well. I know that that certain mindset would read this and lose themselves in their subjective and out of control emotions and that might be fun to see. That mindset would label me anti-woman, homophobic, and a racist or bigot.

I am none of those things but I am anti-anything if it means the suppression of Christ-ian, white and straight men just because they are white and straight males. I oppose anything or anyone that makes hiring choices based on being politically correct. I am anti-gay agenda to be sure but I do not hate anyone nor do I have a phobia. I am not a bigot either, if I oppose or disagree with a person that is of a different race, it is because I oppose or disagree with a position or a premise s/he holds. However in this day and time, it is thought racist to disagree with a person of a different race.

The only race I oppose is the depraved race of humanity that is anti-Christ, whatever color they may be. A person’s skin color matters not, the color of their glasses do.
