“The Christ-ian Witness” Or “The Man Of God” Or “The Woman Of God”

“And the elders of the town trembled at [Samuel’s] coming, and said, Comest thou peaceably? And [Samuel] said, Peaceably: I am come…”  (1 Samuel 16)

“Blessed above  women shall Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite be, blessed shall she be above women in the tent.”  (Judges 5)

The Christ-ian witness is a noun and a verb.  The Christ-ian witness is a person and the Christ-ian witness is an action.  They are one in the same. The Christ-ian witness is one that witnesses to the reality of the Lord Jesus. The reality that He was crucified, His Body put into a tomb, and that He rose again on the third (3rd) day just as He said He would. This Bodily resurrection proves all that He said prior.  The Resurrection proves His Deity, and His atoning work.

The Resurrection of Christ also proves the abundant life available to all that will believe. The Resurrection proves that His return is a reality and a hope that all Christ-ians should hold close to their hearts.

We do not claim to be witnesses to the actual Resurrection, no, not at all. We do claim and should claim to be witnesses to our own spiritual resurrection though. Whereas once we were dead in trespasses and sins, but now we are ALIVE. This would not be possible if He did not rise from the dead. Our changed lives would not be possible if He did not rise from the dead, as a leopard does not change his spots nor does the Ethiopian change the color of the skin. Persons do not change, lest they become New Creatures in Christ.

This article is about the ways of a witness. Some persons, when they hear witness, think of door knocking and a plastic and rehearsed presentation of the Gospel in some form. This is not what I’m talking about.  God has put a circle of persons around you, this is your mission field.

Notice something about Samuel and Jael, Their reputations preceded them. One should always be prepared to testify to the saving grace of God through the works of Christ. There is noi doubt in that at all. However, Once it is known that one is a Christ-ian, a dedicated Christ-ian, that is the witness.  One stands as a lighthouse to all that knows faith resides in you. Once you have established yourself as a Christ-ian, possibly the Christ-ian in the work place, the only Christ-ian in the work place, you have witnessed to the faith. One “witnesses” to strangers but one is a witness, the witness to those that know you.

Know this, your witness will be the witness against others when they face God.  Witnessing and being a witness is a double edged sword.  It may bring someone into the Light or it will be someone’s condemnation. To be a witness and to witness to others is serious business with eternal consequences. We as Christ-ians be as Noah.  His righteousness condemned the world. Our witness and imputed righteousness does the same.

In summary:
We witness to strangers, but we are witnesses to those around us.

“Let your light so shine…”

“Walk In The Spirit” Or “Led Of The Spirit” Or “Live In The Spirit” Or “War In The Spirit” Or “Pray In The Spirit”

“This I say, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”  (Galatians 5)

In other words, Do all things in the Spirit or do everything in the Spirit at all times. One should be sensitive to the Spirit.  The Holy Spirit will not shout or scream. The Spirit speaks in quiet tones. Why does He do this?  Because one must listen closely and turn all other noises out.

Remember the still small voice that Elijah heard?  Do you know what still small voice means? Is it a voice that is still small? Or is the Voice of God the Voice that stills the soul? You are right if you said, God’s Voice is the Voice that stills the soul.  In the Psalms we are told to be still and know God is God.  Reader, There are many times when we should be still, these are the times when things will be made known.

I’m certain you have watched the news and experienced the talking heads yelling and talking over each other. This is the opposite of what we are discussing. We have been in the situation where persons were all talking over each other.  Do you know what stilled the situation?  When our silence, demeanor, and composure was louder than the other voices. Think about the Lord’s silence during the illegal trials of His Person.  His silence was deafening to those all around him.  His silence must have been breath-taking and left His accusers in awe.

Many saints have experienced the silence of God for a time.  C.S. Lewis writes about this silence in his, “A Grief Observed.”  Sir Robert Anderson wrote a book called, “The Silence of God.”  When God goes silent all things change utterly.  We have experienced for a very, very short period of time what it would be like to be without God.  Call me silly, because i requested this in prayer. He answered my prayer and it was perfect timing.  Reader, To be without God is a horrible feeling and a feeling it is, I felt the absence. It is unlike any other sense or feeling. It was spiritually palpable.  I felt lost.

This is not how the unsaved feel, no, not at all.  The emptiness I experienced can only be known by one who knows God and is known of God.  Reader, I am not crazy, this happened. We will never forget it. This is not what we are talking about when we talk about the silence of God.  God does not leave the saint, God simply goes silent.

Why does God go silent at times? There is as many answers to that question as there are Christ-ians. Generally speaking, it seems God is telling us, “I have given you all that you will ever need, now let US see how you handle yourself.”  In this test, God is not gone but is silent and He is watching very closely. He is trusting you to do right, be right, and think right. Another reason, methinks, God is silent at times is to show you what and who you are. After-all God knows what you will do in any situation and what you will do under any circumstances. God need not see what you will do, God wants you to see what you will or would do or won’t do in the time of God-Silence. The time of testing is meant to show you your weakness, not for be-littlement but to show you the areas that need to be prayed for, prayed on, or prayed through.

Sensitivity to the Spirit’s will and the Spirit’s leading is essential to being in the will of God. How does one become sensitive to the Spirit?
*Desire the sensitivity, all things begin at the want.
*Tell God all about your desire.
*Search the Scriptures.
*Pray without ceasing, be instant in prayer, Pray always.  Dwell in the spirit or mindset, if you will, of prayer.  Be prayer.

The Spirit of God is in us.  Where exactly is He?  The Spirit inhabits our instincts (bowels or gut) and He dwells in our thinking process and He resides in the will. The Spirit of God does not indwell the Christ-ian just to be ignored or as a ticket to Heaven.

The Spirit lives in us so that we might obey the precepts of God’s Word. The Spirit lives in us that we would be holy and Christ-like.

One can be sensitive to the Spirit as one is sensitive to sight, smell, taste, touch, and sound.

One should want to be sensitive to the Sensitivity of the Holy Spirit.

“Temper, Temper” Or “A Short Fuse Is Certain To Blow You Up” Or “The Man That Lives With A Temper Shall Die By His Temper”

“He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.”  (Proverbs 16)

An unbeliever that is familiar with Scripture will, without doubt, bring up John chapter two (2) and ask the Christ-ian believer to explain Christ’s “outburst” and loss of temper.  Reader, would you be able to explain the situation and demonstrate for the pride-filled fool the fact that Christ in no way, shape or form lost control of Himself? Could you show this person that Christ’s outburst was fully under control?

We will give you proofs in this article that Christ was under His own control, (DV).

1. Christ made a scourge of small cords and this takes time.  This is not the action of a man that is out of control. This is the action of the Man that was under control, and planning a strategick attack.
2. Notice as the tables were tossed and animals and man ran for freedom and safety, the doves were not among the animals or men tossed to and fro. The Christ kept the doves in the cage and directed the money changers to take them away.  The other animals could be captured again but the doves, if they flew away, could not be re-captured so easily.  Christ takes from no man, no man can convict Christ of stealing or causing him loss.
3. There was purpose behind His actions, there was a message and a prophecy to be fulfilled.

The above demonstrates our Lord was in control and under His own control.  But Christ-ian reader, What about you?  What about me? Can the same thing be said about us?  Are we always under control?  Are we always temperate? Are we always composed?  Christ, when on trial, was the picture and definition of composed.  What about you and me?  When we undergo trials are we composed?

It is an accomplishment when one can remain under control, temperate, and composed at all times, even when no one is looking. In Galatians 5, Paul writes about the fruit of the Spirit and temperance is the last one listed.  Methinks it is listed last because it is the last fruit or grace to be obtained. Remember what our chosen text relates to us.  The person who is temperate, under control, and composed is better than the mighty and he who takes a city.  The mighty man, the military man are second (2nd) to the person that can keep the self subjected to control.  These are bold words are they not? The Proverb speaks to a mighty man and a military man that is not under control, methinks.  To be a mighty man or a good military man does one not have control over self? Methinks the answer is obvious.

What does one do if one has a temper?  As with all things, make this a matter of prayer.  Confess it as sin and seek to repent of it by the grace of God.  Seek to avoid situations, persons, places, etc. that make provisions for the loss of one’s temper. When you sense your temper rising, get away, get alone, be alone with God and pray through it.
I have found that the desire to control one’s self is paramount to everything else. It is paramount even to prayer, if you do not truly desire freedom from your temper, God will know and He will not honour your prayer and you will find yourself lying to God and yourself.

Realize that the loss of temper may feel good at the time, it hurts others, it harms your Christ-ian witness, and it is not Christ-like in any fashion.  Paul tells us that “the wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God.”  In other words, the loss of your temper is in no way godly or Christ-like and it will not serve any good purpose.

Full disclosure: I am writing to myself as much as anyone else.
Another point, One can lose one’s temper on the inside and look perfectly at peace on the outside. Neither is godly, or Christ-like.

“Burdens” Or “Bearing One Another’s Burdens” Or “Fulfilling The Law Of Christ” And “Christ Is Our Burden-Bearer”

“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.”  (Galatians 2)

A Christ-ian should never fear being a burden to another Christ-ian.  If a Christ-ian ever makes another Christ-ian feel like a burden, the former is in the wrong and the latter is not.  It breaks this writer’s heart when/if a fellow believer feels like they are a burden to me.
Does the above sound nice and Christ-ian?  Let me be clear, the above while the spirit may be right the truth about burdens is not.  What do I mean?  Read our text again, we are told to bear one another’s burdens. Christ-ian, when you bring burdens to another believer you are being a burden, you are burdening them.  When you leave them you leave them burdened.

And that is how it is supposed to be.  The Christ-ian is to be a burden-bearer for others. The Christ-ian is a beast of burden for fellow Christ-ians and the lost as well. If a Christ-ians keeps from burdening another Christ-ian the former is denying the latter a blessing.  The right-minded Christ-ian looks to share the burdens of others.  Why?

We will give reasons why the Christ-ian is a burden-bearer:
**************************************************************
*The Christ-ian is commanded to bear the burdens of others in Scripture.
*No one else will bear the burdens of others if we do not…this should be our mindset, whether true or not.
*What is prayer if not burden-bearing?  Intercessory prayer is bearing the burdens for fellow Christ-ians and for those that cannot pray and will not be heard by God.
*Bearing the burdens of other’s should be natural for the Christ-ian because, “[Christ in] [H]is [O]wn [S]elf bare our sins in [H]is [O]wn [B]ody on the tree…”  (1 Peter 2)
*”Surely [H]e hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem [H]im stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.  (Isaiah 53)
*”[T]he LORD hath laid on [H]im the iniquity of us all. (Isaiah 53)
*When we bear the burdens of one another, we are Christ-like.

How do we bear the burdens of others?
******************************************
*Know that you are fulfilling Christ’s law when you bear another’s burden.  What is His law?  Love your neighbor as yourself.
*Paul tells us in Roman 12 to “weep with them that weep and rejoice with them that rejoice.”  One can bear the burdens of others by simply being present and listening and hearing; hearing and listening.  Sometimes the one who is most burdened wants someone near them but wants silence as well.
*Sound, Biblical counsel is another means of burden-bearing. Make certain that the hurting one is ready for counsel, do not force-feed.  Also make certain your counsel is Bible-based, sound, and true.  Do not give a bunch of opinions, including yours.
*Intercessory prayer when you are alone and prayer with the hurting when you are present.
*Ask the burdened and hurting if they want you to call them or should you wait for their call. Agree on a day that you will (DV) call them if they do not call you.  Bearing one another’s burden(s) is a pro-active ministry and art.
*Be available 25/8. If a call comes at night, sound awake and ready to bear a burden and thank them for thinking of you.
*Know when to back off.  Sometimes one can overdue it and that is not helpful, when this happens you have become an additional burden to the already burdens and hurting. Listen to your instincts, that is a place the Spirit dwells.
*Be flexable and useful.
*If there are other care-givers present, do not make burden-bearing a contest.  Let the other person provide care.  Pay attention to what the other care giver is doing though.  Do not allow a well meaning person to send the hurting and burdened in the wrong direction.

Very Important Information:
*********************************
PRAY, ALWAYS PRAY, NEVER EVER NOT PRAY when you are helping another bear their burden and remember it is their burden, it is very real to them, you know not how they feel, even if you have experienced something similar or even experienced the same burden.  We are all wired differently by our Maker. We feel all things differently. We might agree on things, we may see things in a similar way, but our feelings are our feelings. Two (2) persons may be angry or sad or whatever at the same thing and at the same time, but they feel that anger and sadness or whatever differently.  Only God knows our feelings intimately. Only God can know our heart perfectly and that is why we must always turn to God for His guidance and counsel before we seek to guide or counsel another.
Never, ever be condescending to someone you are seeking to help.  Never, “I know all about this” to someone because you don’t

The golden rule applies here as it applies to all other situations.  “Do unto others as you would have done unto you.”

“Everyone’s A Hero, Everyone’s A Hero” Or “What’s In Your Wallet?…Who Cares Who’s Your Hero?” Or “What Constitutes A Hero To You?”

“For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which is lost.”  (Luke 19)

What constitutes a hero?  In this day and time, everyone one is a hero.  This may sound good and uplifting but when everyone is a hero, no one is a hero and no one needs saving.  All police officers, all Fireman, all first responder, all military persons are heroes.  Is this true?  While it is true that many of the mentioned do praise-worthy things that could be called heroic, does this constitute a hero?  Most of the above would say no, for most of the above are humble.  I will say somethings that may cause one to grow angry in a twinkling of an eye, but hear me out and let me finish before you rip your hair out.

Dirty cops are not heroes. Some of their actions may be heroic but their dirtiness disqualifies them and they would probably confess that to be true. Is the fireman a hero because he fights fire? Both the police officer and the fire fighter do face dangers knowingly and this is courageous and it is brave, but does that constitute a hero?  I’m not saying it is or it isn’t. I have a nephew and a niece that joined the military during war time, my nephew now is a deputy police officer, methinks I know his heart and it is the heart of a hero.  My neice, is now a postal worker and inside her beats the heart of a heroine… a female hero and not the drug.
But does a person that joins the military for self betterment and education options constitute a hero?  If a person joins the military during peace times with little threat of seeing war, but do so for personal gain, does that constitute a hero? The soldier that joins the military to defend the country and serve this nation, especially during times of war are certainly heroes and should be honoured, for it is their honour that drives them.  What about persons that join the military that does so for the souls purpose of killing for the sake of pleasure, is this heroic?  Many a murderer at heart join the military for the purpose of legal killing, does this constitute a hero? Some join the service to avoid jail time, is this heroic?

Reader, we are not trying to defame or dismiss anyone’s heroic actions, we are seeking to define and to be precise in our defining. We all know super heroes are fictional and do not exist, not in a supernatural way, anyway.   There are of course persons that dress up and do good works and call themselves real life super heroes, these persons, I have no problem with, do they constitute true heroes, I know not because I know not these persons.

Methinks before one can be a hero one needs to be known in a real way and in depth.  We certainly have heroes in Scripture, and in history and because their whole life is laid out before us we can judge them to be heroes or not. No one would argue that men like Martin Luther, Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Lincoln, King Jr., Rosa Parks and others  that left this place better than when they found it. No one would dispute men and women from Scripture as heroes of faith, like Abraham, Moses, Deborah, Samson, Ruth, Esther, David, the prophets, Peter, John, Paul and of course our Lord Jesus Christ.

A hero is a person that over the course of his or her life left persons and places better than they found them, while overcoming great obstacle to do so. Heroes are those that do exploits in the Name of God, in the name of goodness, rightness, honour, loyalty while facing down danger and death. The heroes can be in any field, Heroes are found in Faith, Medicine, Law, Military, Education, the Family, and in everyday life.

It is an unfortunate truth and reality that not all heroes remain heroes.  King Saul stands as an example in Scripture. In history, Hitler was once thought a great mind and a fine example of a world leader.  Other leaders went to Germany to meet him and learn from him, it’s true, research it yourself. I believe he was even Time’s Man of the Year at one (1) point.  All of this was prior to his turn to wickedness and genocide and the very picture of evil…however, these traits were always in him even during his time as respected world leader.  One never knows when someone will turn bad. This is one good reason to reserve the title of hero until one is dead.  The very title of hero can be the trigger that drives some to evil.

Of course, there are those that were once bad, but became the hero. King Manassah, Nebuchadnezzar, Saul/Paul of Tarsus, John Mark.  Some heroes fail and faulter but are raised up to become a great hero, Peter fell, but he became the hero.  Samson fell but God raised him to be a hero of our faith.

Of course, if one is Christ-ian one’s Hero and Champion is the GodMan, Christ Jesus,Who is both Lord and Saviour.  This Man, the Man, Christ Jesus overcame the temptations of the devil and the flesh.  This Man defeated death and the grave, this Man defeated dirty politics and man centered religionists at every turn.  This Man saved many from blindness, deafness, lameness, dumbness, Palsies, and demons, self and Sin, and death eternal. This Man’s only weakness was His love for those that loved Him not and this love is also His great Strength. It was His love for those He came to save that held Him to a cursed, cruel, and criminal’s Cross. It was His love that allowed puny and depraved humanity to kill Him and it was His Sovereign love that allowed Him to defeat the devil, destruction, and death for the sake of the spirits, and souls of His elect brethren. Then this Man Christ Jesus sent forth His faith, hope, and love and shared it with us through His ever-living and abiding Holy Spirit.

To sum things up:
The Man Christ Jesus > a man that can handle a ball
The Man Christ Jesus > a music or television or movie celebrity
The Man Christ Jesus > Good and Honourable Politicians, Military Heroes, Educators, World Changers.
The Man Christ Jesus > Heroes of the Faith in Scripture
The Man Christ Jesus > Heroes from History

“Worldly Women In The World” Or “It’s Not The Butler!!!, It’s The Woman.” Or “Godless Women, Godless Blacks, And Godless Gays..”

“For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah…The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prphet, and the prudent, and the ancient, The captain of fifty, and thehonourable man, and the counseller, andcthe cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator. And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them. And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbor (Political correctness): the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.”  (Isaiah 3)

“As for [M]y people, children are their oppressors, and women shall rule over them, O my people, they which lead thee to err, and destroy the ways of thy path.” (Isaiah 3)

Many, I know, will say this is not a prophesy that concerns America or the Christ-ian. This prophecy may or may not be germaine to America or the Christ-ian, but the parallels in this prophecy are exacting to the state and the day that America is in. Can any one contradict my statement? Does anyone see what I see?  This site, this ministry is called the children of Issachar for a reason. The aforementioned are the men that understood and understand the times and they know what Israel should do.

As I said above, some if not many, will dismiss this truth from Isaiah as being Israel specific and not Christ-ian or America inclusive.  Methinks that as America stands with Israel, America is and should be considered included in this Isaiah prophecy.

Examples shall be given and my argument will stand as a four (4) legged stool. Before we dive into parallels and proofs, let me say I am not anti-woman.  No, not at all. We are very pro good-woman, as we have raised and are still raising our daughters. We know women are very good at what women do, whether in the home or the business world. We are very familiar with the pro’s of womanhood as well as the con’s of womanhood.  We believe the Scriptures when Scripture states the woman is to be submissive to the husband.  No one should be angry with this, with my position,  for “it is written.”  Women should not be angry at me or disillusioned by God’s standards.  However, if women are angry at me or disillusioned by God, that anger speaks to what Scripture says about the woman.

In this world of the ungodly, in this world that lieth in wickedness, in this present evil world, we are seeing the deflation, the decrease, the decline of manhood.  Not only manhood in general, but white manhood specific. And being even more precise this is the time the Christ-ian, white, straight and decent man is becoming the focus of an organized project of the powers and the principalities, that seeks the destruction and the damning of the Christ-ian, white, straight and decent man.

In politics, the woman is growing more and more powerful and preeminent and poised to put the man down.  This is not new, Reader, it was the woman that gave Adam the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge, that cast all humanity into Sin and death.  It was the woman that brought the blight of Islam into existence through Abraham, Hagar and Ismael. It was the woman that brough about the destruction of Samson, it is the promiscuous woman in Proverbs that detours the man of righteousness.  It is the whore of Babylon that has a leading role in Revelation. [SideNote: It appears that the children shall also become powerful due to school shootings and the attention the media gives them. In truth, the caste system of the children in public schools is the root of all it’s troubles. The public school children is Dr. Frankenstein and the school violence is it’s monster.

Know this, I am not seeking to denounce or defame all women or children.  I am not.  In Scripture there be many good and great women of God. There is Sarah, even though she stumbled,  there is Rebeccah, there is Leah, and Rachael, sure they too stumbled but they were God’s. There is Rahab, Deborah, and Jael, Abigail, Bathsheba, there is Ruth and Esther, there is Anna, Elizebeth and Mary, Salome, Magdalene, Lydia, Priscilla and so on. There exists a great godliness in God’s women. The women I speak of are the women that are linking up with the gay agenda, the Black lives (I’m Not racist, period, let’s move on.) and the progressesive or rather destructive left and liberal mindset.

In fiction or rather in Holloweird, the woman is being lifted up.  In re-make movies, the prior role of men are being re-done with the woman and other remakes that had white men in the role is being remade and recast with black actors.  “Ghostbusters,” are now women, the upcoming “The Greatest American Hero,” is recast as with a woman,  “Van Helsing” is now a woman,  the “One Day at a Time,” reboot is now made up of mexican actors. There was a re-make movie of the “Honey-Mooners,” The white characters were recast and replaced with black actors.  In the Marvel universe, Nick Fury was changed from a white man to black man and Captain America was made a traitor, who is a political conservative.  In the D.C. Universe, Green Lantern has been made gay, and in “Flashpoint Paradox” Flash is hinted to be bi-sexual. Before long Batman and Superman will probably be changed to black men, Gotham will become the projects. I wouldn’t be surprised if Batman and Robin become a thing, either.

Reader, I am not anti-woman, I am not racist, I do not hate homosexuels, though homosexuality is Sin like any other sin.  What I am is anti god-less women, anti- godless blacks, and I am anti-godless gays that are all joining hand with hand and seeking to over-throw the Christ-ian, white, and straight man, that they say needs to be over-thrown. The Christ-ian, white, and straight man need not be over-thrown because he is not in charge, even though the godless woman, the god-less black and the godless gay puts him up as a straw man.

After all I have written above, methinks some will think me anti-woman, racist, and homophobic and we will be named and labeled as such.  This is fine and good for the Scriptures has prophesied this and therefore promised this, thus the Scriptures be proven true and as Scripture be proven true, I shall trust in the Lord, in the Godhead, that protects and keeps me safe and sound through the sound doctrines of the Scriptures.  The Principles and Precepts of God shall overwhelm the power of the woman wave that is coming. The great Glory of God shall ground and pound the gay agenda, no doubt, and all the godless, whatever colour they may be, shall be blotted out.

This world, through politics, fiction, re-written history, business and whatever other machinations (s)atan uses shall seek to erase the Christ-ian, white, straight and decent man and they shall succeed in many, if not, all areas.

But God…The enemies of righteousness, honour, truth, and goodness shall be over-come and overwhelmed by the brightness of His coming.  “Hold the Fort, for I am Coming” says our Lord.

“A-theism” Or “The A-theist – There Be No Such Animal” Or “There Is No God And I Hate Him” AND….. “A Study On St. Paul, St. Augustine, C.S. Lewis, and A. Flue 2.”

“The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God.”  (Psalm 14)

“…that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of [H]im from the creation of the world are clearly seen…”                                                                                                                                        (Romans 1)

There is a restaurant chain called, “Famous Daves.”  This chain or franchise is known for their many meat dishes.  At the entrance to this restaurant there is a small sign that says, “We love vegitarians, they make us laugh.”  This can be adopted by Christ-ianity in reference to that species of the human race called atheists.  “We love atheists, they make us laugh.”  I know, I know we should mourn over the atheist. It is true we should mourn over the individual atheist, but we can shake our heads and mock atheism in general.

The truth is however, there does not exist such an animal. In Scripture we find the refutation of the so-called atheist.  In Romans one (1) the Bible dispels the notion of the true atheist. Paul tells us they see creation and know there is God as well as an internal witness that tells them that God is.  In Psalm fourteen (14) we read. “The fool hath said in his heart there is no God”  but in their mind they know God is.

I read something about atheism on Fb today and one of the comments mocked atheism with the following, “There is no God and I hate Him,” I think that is a perfect summary of atheism. Eight (8) one (1) syllable words sums it up perfectly.  There be no Christ-ians running around trying to disprove the existence of Molech or Baal.  The Christ-ian frets not over these two (2) or any of the O.T. false gods, why?  They exist not, they were shell companies for (s)atan’s false religions.  But the atheist, I mean the active and militant atheist kicks and screams against the Godhead, Why?  They know He is and it is as simple as that.

In my way of thinking there are three (3) types of atheists. There is the professing Christ-ian that denies God in their everyday life, there is the quiet atheist that simply thinks not of God and goes about their business with no thought of God or the soul, then there is my favourite, the militant atheist, the Evangelical Atheist, who goes about witnessing to God’s non-existence.

The “Christ-ian” atheist is the person that says they believe in God, they might even attend church but in their everyday life, in their practices and in their principles, will, and actions, they deny Christ over and over and over.  There are many “Christ-ian” atheist, you reader, may be one yourself.
King Saul is the perfect example of this type of atheist, King Saul spoke a good game, Saul spent time with men of God and outwardly professed God, but in truth Saul was an apostate waiting to implode.  King Saul killed many, many priests of God, Saul over-stepped into the office of priest when he had no right and God rejected him for this. Saul also sought to kill God’s true king over and over again.  King Saul stands as the example of the “Christ-ian” atheist.

The quiet atheist never has much to say about God and certainly nothing to God.  This atheist might be politically sound, this type may be a decent man, a good husband and a good father.  This type generally has nothing to say about God, God simply finds no place in his thoughts.  There are many atheist of this sort. This atheist will not get into discussions about religion and will simply go about his way. This type is generally harmless, they hurt no one except themselves and their family through their obliviousness to all things God. Though they be quiet and generally harmless to most, they will still face God’s judgment.

Then there is my favourite atheist, the militant. These be my favourites for a variety of reasons. One (1) reason is i Love to see them come to faith when God reveals Himself to their unbelief and causes them to believe and serve Him as a spiritual pitbull.  There is many of these in history. Saul/Paul of Tarsus was an atheist…yes, he believed in Jehovah but denied Christ, thus he was an atheist of sorts. This man was a great plague to Christ-ianity, he was a plague against Christ-ians as God was a plague against Egypt.  This man lived and breathed to condemn, persecute, and imprison Christ-ians. This man was a serial persecutor.  He was the cause of much pain that was felt for years and years in the Christ-ian community. Yet God chose this man to be His greatest witness to the gentile world. Paul was one of the great trophies of grace.

Then there is Saint Augustine. Augustine was a very worldly wise man given to many vices. Augustine denied the God of his mother by his words, actions, ways, and influence. Augustine’s mother, Monica prayed for years for her intellectually gifted son. Augustine was very, very sexually promiscuous, he had a bastard son and though no one says it, he might even have experimented with homosexuality with his very beloved and longtime companion.  Augustine was pompous, arrogant, and intellectually boundless.  BUT GOD.

Augustine was in his rear garden and heard the words, “Pick up the book and read.”  Augustine saw no children, could not think of any children’s songs or games that included those words and was then driven to open the Scriptures.  Augustine’s eyes landed upon the Romans 13:14, “Put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.”  Augustine was never the same and neither was Christ-ianity.

Augustine is claimed by the Catholic church but he is none of their’s.  Augustine is the grand-father of the reformation, Both Luther and Calvin learned at the feet of Augustine, in the bookish sense. Augustine wrote upon and taught all the main and major doctrines of the Christ-ian faith.  Humanly speaking, Augustine, like Athanasius before him, saved Christian-ity from heresy.  Humanly speaking, without Augustine, we all would be crossing ourselves and confessing to a man in a box.

The importance and value of Augustine cannot be over-stated. Augustine’s works on the Trinity cannot be bettered, his “Confessions” is a spiritual high. He has commentaries on Psalms, John, and a small commentary on Romans, Augustine wrote on politics, and his Enchiridon is helpful as a Christ-ian handbook.. One should begin with his “Confessions” if one desires to explore a great and godly and God-filled mind and one should desire to explore a great and godly and God-filled mind, Right? Right.

Yet another militant atheist was C.S. Lewis.  This man “lost faith” when he was nine (9) years old after he had prayed for his mother’s healing and was denied. His mother’s death ended his faith.  Lewis wrote much against God and mocked Christ-ians and even debated Christ-ians. Lewis is the perfect example of being very “angry with God for not existing.” Lewis had a rough childhood and a tough time in boarding school. One (1) of his instructor was committed to an asylum. Lewis wrote home to his father promising to kill himself if he was not removed from his boarding school. Lewis, being taken seriously by his father, was pulled from that school. [SideNote: All good fathers take their children seriously.  If my one of my children told me there was a ghost, spirit, demon in their roon, I would take her seriously, anything any of my children said would be taken seriously and considered with soberness].

After being pulled from the abusive boarding school Lewis was sent to an old friend and teacher of his father and brother.  This teacher’s name is William T. Kirkpatrick. William T. Kirkpatrick is also called “the Great Knock.” Metinks that name is due to his ability to knock down illogical fallacies or maybe he was known for knocking on doors loudly. W.T. Kirkpatrick is a very interesting person to study.  W.T.K. was the headmaster of a school in Scotland and was a teacher in the Presbyterian Church. Lewis called W.T.K. the embodiment of pure logic. On Sundays W.T.K. would dress in his finest and would work in his garden.  The sad thing about W.T.K. is one day he woke up and became an atheist, out of no where.

W.T.K. would make Lewis who Lewis would become, Humanly speaking.  Lewis was taught languages, logic, literature, and math by this embodiment of God-less logic. Lewis was so inculcated by Kirkpatrick that he began to dream in other languages. Here was Lewis a militant atheist, being taught and mentored by a former Calvinist turned quiet athiest and yet….and yet, Lewis would become one (1) of the great apologists and writers for the common faith and some wonder if God has a sense of humour.

An atheist turned deist for now is Anthony Flue.  This atheist wrote a book called, “There is No God” when he was a younger man. Flue is the son of a preacher, but he grew up to deny Christ, not only deny Christ but to fight against His very existence. Years later as an old man Flue re-published his book, “There is no God” but this time there is a line through the word no. Flue came to his senses, like all prodigals must do and he realized God is.  Flue is no Christ-ian, but a deist. A deist acknowledges A God that is impersonal toward His creation. This seems to be the route many militant atheist walk, Atheism to Deism to Christ-ianity.

I love to see the militany atheist be turned to God and there have been many because God is in the Christ-ian making business. If the heart of a king is in the hand of the LORD, then so is the atheist’s. We have my eye on a few atheists that thinks me will turn to God.

The really sad type of atheist however, is the professing Christ-ian that denies God in all their ways while they lean upon their own understanding. These, I call practical atheists. In name they may be Christ-ian, in principle and politic they may be Christ-ian, but in practice and in the outward workings of their will and imagination, and future expectations they utterly deny God. What is scary is these professing Christ-ians/practical atheists might not even know they are denying God. When a Christ-ian does not acknowledge God in all his ways and does not keep God in all his thinking, that Christ-ian is essentially and practically, an atheist.

Another reason I love the militant atheist is they be fodder for my faith. i know that sounds mean and nasty and maybe it is but …..wait for it…. wait for it…..It is what it is.

The militant atheist proves the Bible’s description of the atheist everytime. In their denial of God and His Word, they prove His Word and His Being. The atheist can be likened unto the man that looks at the sky and calls it green and looks at grass and calls it blue. The atheist is the criminal that sees himself on video but denies it is him. The atheist is the person who denies God while everything in their life is screaming God. The atheist is like the holocaust denier, the holocaust is documented, there is film documenting the holocaust, there are books documenting the holocaust, and there are living persons who endured the holocaust. But the Holocaust denier still says, “There was no Holocaust.” The reason the atheist is like the Holocaust denier is because the holocaust is within keeping with God’s pattern. God puts the Jew to captivity. It is an on going trend and is a pattern. To acknowledge the holocaust is to acknowledge the Pattern and to acknowledge the Pattern is to Acknowledge God.

We could go on and on profiling the atheist, but we think what is written is sufficient.

Godspeed.

“Scientology” Or “The Fool’s Religion Based On Science Fiction Books” Or “Yes, People Can Be This Stupid And This Depraved”

“O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoid profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: which some professing have erred concerning the faith…”  (2 Timothy 6)

I remember when I was a kid, there were commercials for something called, “Dianetics.”  It was being called an answer to many of life’s problems if not all of life’s problems.  I know not why I remember these commercials, I was very, very young. I can run these commercials like a film in my mind’s eye. The only answer I have as to why I remember these commercials is God was with me at a very young age and God began showing me all the false ways before He showed me the One and Only Way.

Reader, I get tears in my eyes when I think of all the years and all the times God was with me before I knew I would be with Him. Ever since I was six (6) or Nines (9) year old ( I know not which), I had a faith and a belief in God…more mystical and nebulous than certain and true. I knew not the doctrines or the details but I knew and sensed God’s Presence, take it or leave it, but that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

Scientology is a man centered and man made up religion. It is one of (s)atan’s bastard religions. In many ways it is opposite to Christ-ianity. One way it differs from Christ-ianity and Christ-ianity’s beliefs is Scientology uses celebrities, well known names, glitz and glamour to sucker fools into his grasp.  Whereas God uses the weak, the base, and the foolish to confound the world and the worldly-wise.

This religion that is based on the science fiction writings of one, L Ron Hubbard, takes from the other religion of (s)atan, the Catholic church a means to possible black mail. In Scientology, members are “audited” or in other words are asked questions while wired to a lie detector called an e-meter.  These auditings are meant to break the spirit of the members of Scientology, so they can be re-built with Scientology doctrine. These auditings can also be used to black mail members.  When one reads something negative about such persons as John Travolta, Kirstie Alley, Tom Cruise and other fools caught up in Scientology, it is Scientology threatening them with even darker truths, if they were to leave the religion. Travolta has been “deceiving and being deceived” since his days on the show, “Welcome Back, Kotter.”  It is just my thinking, I cannot verify it but methinks when Travolta was called gay on the dirt sheet gossip papers, it was because he was wanting out of Scientology.

Do you remember when Tom Cruise spoke against psychiatry and psychiatric medicines on Oprah as he was jumping on a couch?  That is because Scientology founder and science fiction writer, L. Ron Hubbard dismissed all psychiatrics as wrong and evil. Please always remember Scientology is based on the science fiction writings of an evil man, a megalomaniac, and most probably a psycho/sociopath.

[SideNote: I have a back ground in street fighting and Jiu Jitsu and every time I see David Misgavige, the president of Scientology and Tom Cruise, Scientology’s most well known fool, the old man and the carnal man in me rises up and wants to put both these false prophets in a guillotine choke hold or a Dragon Sleeper hold].

Scientology is very dark and very secretive. This is another way it differs from Christ-ianity.  If a member falls foul of the Fool’s religion, they are called, “Sp’s” or Suppressive persons and are ignored by friends and family who are in good standings with Scientology.

One can research this fool’s religion by reading those who have escaped the clutches of Misgavige and (s)atan’s religion for fools.
*Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise’s ex-wife.
*Jason Beige from “Law and Order: Chicago P.D.”
*Leah Remini from “King of Queens” and her documentaries on the bastard religion for fools.
*Diana Conova from so many shows.

I hope you consider this article as a “Hit Job” because it is.

“It’s Part And Parcel Of Our Christ-likeness” Or “Christ-ians Say The Strangest Things” Or “Staggering Statements Made By Christ…ians”

“Before Abraham was I Am.”  (John 8)

“Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

There was a television program, “long ago and in a galaxy far, far away,” called, “Kids Say The Strangest Things” which I think was a spin-off from another old show called, “Candid Camera.”  The title of this program tells you what it was about, so I’ll not go into that.

It could be said likewise, “Christ-ians say the strangest things.” or “Christ-ians say the silliest things.”  And we, as a matter of fact do, say some things that are thought to be strange by the uninitiated, the unsaved, the wicked, the lost, the reprobated, the unrighteous, the children of disobedience, the children of wrath, and the children of (s)atan. Strange and silly they may be to “them” but to us, it is accepted truth just as it is accepted truth that grass is green and the red light means stop, fire burns, and we be immortal being.

Why and what are some of the strange things we say? First (1st) the why.  Why do we say such things that are thought strange and silly? We Say these things because…
*They are found in the Word of God.
*We believe and hope in them.
*Many of the truths written in God’s Word have been proven true, such as prophecy, answered prayers and changed lives and the persecution of the believers.
*We are told to say to others what we read in Scripture.
*And the big one and I like to think, the main one: We say these things or we speak these words because He did, because Christ said them and spoke them into our hearts and made them true and real within us.  Why do we speak these truths, that are thought strange and silly?  Because of THE Cause, because of the Author and the Finisher of our faith. We speak these truths because He did and does through us and through His Living Word.

The above are some of the reasons why we say what we say, below we shall look at (DV) what we say that is strange and silly to others:

We believe and say, Christ was born from a virgin.  To the world, this is biologically impossible and non-sense, even though these wise idiots think life came from non-life.  When a “worldly wise man” or scientist hears of the virgin birth, everything after that is fiction.  I know this to be true.  It was said to this writer’s face, that there cannot be a virgin birth…it is impossible, the virgin birth was a cover story for the birth of an illegitimate bastard child of a teen aged girl, because virgin, in the Bible, means “young maiden” and not what we consider to be a virgin. This very accomplished member of MENSA said all of that to my face, while others watched, some laughing and others moving, fearing a lightning strike. No one was killed that day by lightning strike, but I am glad to report some of the watchers were, in fact, struck by the Light of the Glorious Gospel years later. A seed planted and a seed watered…to God be the Glory for the increase.

Reader, it is true, virgin does mean young maiden in Scripture, but God does not leave us speechless, at such a charge, from such a smart MENSA member.  We pointed out to her that she was correct, however, the Gospel goes on to say Mary, the young maiden, “knew not man.” To our reply she fell into a fallacy of giggles and “whatever.” This wise and so very smart member of MENSA based her unbelief upon the virgin birth of Christ, however, I know not if she ever based any belief upon the sword that struck her unbelief at it’s very heart. Her unbelief was based on a stool, and one of the legs broke.

What are some other “strange and silly” things we say?
*God is the Creator and Maintainer of all things.
*We are born into sin and with murdered spirits because of Adam and Eve were deceived by the serpent.
*There was a great flood that covered the Earth and  man named Noah build an Ark that saved the lives that found grace in God’s Eyes.
*The Red Sea was parted.
*We believe the Ten Commadments are Divively written.
*Jonah was swollowed by a great fish.
*Dinosaurs were contemporary with man, if one cannot believe the Bible on this point, just watch the “Flintstones.” HA! HA!
*Many Jews were saved from the poison of fiery serpents by looking at a symbol.
*A Man called Jesus walked on water.
*A Man called Jesus fed thousands and thousands of persons with a little boy’s lunch and a small amount of fish and bread.
*A Man called Jesus raised persons from the dead, healed persons from all manner of sickness, and cast out demons from many a person.
*A Man called Jesus forgave sinners, an act reserved for God Alone, making Himself God Incarnate.
*A Man called Jesus faced all manner of trials, tribulations, and temptations, yet remained sinless.
*A Man called Jesus was made sin for all who would believe and was crucified and killed.
*A Man called Jesus, after being three (3) days dead, rose from the dead, was resurrected from death and Lived again and for ever.
*This Man called Lord Jesus ascended into Heaven, where He sits at His Fathers Right Hand and awaits the time for His return to Earth, and intercedes for each of His own, and decides and answers prayers according to His will, and upholds all things.
*This Man called Lord Jesus shall return and make all things right, “Behold, I make all things new.”

Reader,
We speak these truth, we live and hope according to these truths, we say these, strange and silly, things to some, because… He did and… and He does even today through His Word, through His Word that shall not ever, ever, ever fail, nor faulter one (1) jot or one (1) tittle.  His Word and His Words in His Word are the Same as The Great God-Man Christ Jesus Himself, They are and He is Faithful and For-ever.

“There Is Faith And Then There is Faith” Or “A Reason Why Faith Is Listed So Late In The Fruit Of The Spirit” Or “Real Faith Has A Source And A Focal Point” And “It Is The Fool Who Has Faith In….Whatever One Thinks One’s Faith Is Placed In” Or “When The Unsaved say, ‘I Have Faith’ [in something nebulous and unknown] They Unknowingly Lie And Deceive Themselves”

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance…”  (Galatians 5)

“For to one is given by the Spirit… to another… by the same Spirit… to another faith by the same Spirit …to another…to another…to another…But all these worketh that one and [S]elfsame Spirit. dividing to every man severally as He will.”  (1 Corinthians 12)

“Thy faith hath made thee whole…”  (The Gospels)

“[A]s God hath dealt to everyman [of God] the measure of faith ]that God has measured specifically to him].  (Romans 12; Words bracketed are my own and not found, but implied  and therefore inferred in and from the Scripture.)

Reader,

There is faith and then there is faith.  Every Christ-ian goes from faith to faith, meaning every believers faith is meant to grow as all living and thriving things do. Faith is living but unfortunately not every persons faith grows or thrives and that is no them and not upon God.  It is true that God is the giver, gifter, maintainer, and increaser of faith and it is also true that one way He extends and increases one’s strength is by the exercise thereof. One exercises one’s strength by overcoming worry, fear, doubt, suffering and all other odds with faith as, “faith is the victory.”

Every man that put faith in God and believed did so due to the personally given and personally gifted and personally received personal faith.  Each and every person who has faith in Christ has been given that faith as a gift from God  (Ephesians 2). Reader, Do NOT rob God of the glory by thinking “you put your faith in God.”  No man has ever put his own faith in God to the saving of his soul, left they received it as a gift of grace from the riches of God.” Reader, every person who has believed and forever believes does so because the “faith of Christ” allows him to (Galatians 2).  As the Lord liveth and as the Lord be my witness, no man has any faith of his own to put in Christ, as everyman is dead in trespasses and sins. Everyman is spiritually dead, everyman is born spititually dead and has no faith as faith is spiritual.

Therefore, if a person puts faith in Christ to the saving of his soul it is because God has granted him new life and the gift of faith.  Everyman that believed and believes has been allowed to believe because of “the faith of Christ.”  Know this truth and boast not in your decision to put your faith in Christ…Literally, and it is literal…Christ has put His faith in you…that substance called faith (Hebrews 11).

Having written about the faith that is common to all believers we now seek to write (DV) upon the various measurements of faith the Spirit divided to everyman as He wills.  As the stars in the heavens have their own brightness, so does each and every Christ-ian have their own specific, particular, precious, and peculiar amount of faith.

It is specific because it is divinely measured, it is particular because it is divinely measured to each individual saint’s needs. It is precious because every divinely measured amount of faith is particular to the particular or certain saint…it is their own measurement, no one has the same amount. It is precious like the Blood of the Saviour is precious, there be none like it.  It is pecular because it is specific, particular, and precious to the individual who is, hand-picked, God-elected, and So very lovingly selected saint(s) of the Only True and Living God.

We have heard persons say, “I wish I had the faith of David or Daniel.”  Some have said this in honesty and others in the want of attention.  There be two (2) things to say to this comment.  One (1) David and Daniel had not the faith of David or Daniel until it was needed.  The disciples, after being told to be forgiving of others, said to the Master, “Lord, Increase our faith.”  God is the increaser and maintainer of the faith we be blessed with and that we now call our own. Two (2) We will never have the faith of David or Daniel, why?  We have been given the “faith OF Christ”  Reader, there is a difference between “faith in Christ” and  “the faith of Christ.” The former speaks to action, as in, having faith in Christ, and the latter speaks to possession, the faith of or belonging to Christ.

Reader, Paul tells us that love is greater than faith and hope.  Why is this? When Christ returned to heaven (Psalm 24- read this Psalm), he needed not faith, as faith was made sight.  Christ had no more need for hope as His hope had been answered, but love…but love, reader, goes on and on, never ending for all of eternity.  This is why love or charity is greater. However, as faith is a gift and the substance of things hoped for and since faith dies not, what happened to “the faith of Christ?”  The Spirit of God planted it inside each one of us as Christ had faith without measurement.  His faith is divided up, severally as [H]e wills among the faithful!!! What happens to our faith then when we arrive home to Heaven?  Our faith on earth graduates to hope, and when we realize our hope in Heaven, it shall graduate to love as we see Him, Whom we believed and Whom we loved without seeing.

Reader, there is the first measure of faith that is given each of God’s chosen which enables them to believe.  There is then a faith that is, as I wrote above, specific, particular, precious and peculiar to each of us.  Some have a greater measurement of faith than others and some have less faith than others at any given time. However, we each have the faith we need and this faith will increase and decrease as we have need.  This increase and decrease is one of faith’s traits that let us know our given and gifted faith is alive and thriving.  It is this increase and decrease that tells us….He Lives…He Knows… He Abides…He is very Present.

Let us all go from faith to faith and let us all grow from faith to fa-ITH to f-AITH to FAITH.

Let no one and no thing rob you of your faith, hope, joy and love.  What Glory is to God, faith, hope, joy, and love is to you.  God will not share His glory with another and no one will steal or rob Him of it, thusly the godly and the Christ-like will not share his faith, hope, joy, and love with another and no one shall steal it or rob him of it, lest he allows it.

As to why faith is mentioned so late in the fruit of the Spirit,  Faith is listed so late because faith grows and it take time for faith to grow and it grows after and through the graces preceding it on the list.

As to faith making one whole, One must know that it is through faith that one looks to the Author and finisher, the Creator and Giver, the Increaser and Decreaser and the Maintainer and the Very Source and Focal Point of our faith. We are made whole by and with the very faith of Christ, itself.

And as to those that know not God but still boast in some kind of nebulous and or new age faith, they are similar to those who are thankful to no One on Thanksgiving day….they be similar or they be the same, I know not which.

Godspeed.
