“It’s Not What You Know But Who Knows You” Or “Are You Known By The Enemy?” Or “Do You Know You Have An Enemy?

“And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?”                                                                                                                                                 (Acts 19)

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour; whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. (1Peter 5:8,9)

One truth I share with young persons of our faith is from 1 Peter 5:8,9. The young Christ-ian must be forewarned that they have an enemy in this world and he is a powerful enemy and is set for their destruction, “your adversary the devil.” Notice the personal possessional pronoun...your adversary?” The devil is the personal adversary of every born again child of God and the sanctified family of every child of God. Know this    Christ-ian, the devil and his organized kingdom is “your adversary.”

However, we do not want to see a demon at every corner or behind every door.  If you are a lazy, do nothing believer and share not Christ or make it your purpose to glorify God, you need not fear the devil and his ilk. The devil is the natural enemy of all believers but he does not waste time with those that are not a danger to him. I am reminded of Sherlock Holmes and Professor James Moriarty.

Professor James Moriarty was the George Soros in the days of Holmes. Moriarty was a prince of crime. He was behind all the major crime in London. Moriarty, however kept a low profile and worked behind the scenes, However, Holmes knew all about him and would get in the way of Moriarty’s machinations. For Holmes’ interference the two (2) would meet and discuss their personal rivalry and then they would meet again for battle.

This is true of some believers and the devil.  Some believers get in his way and when that happens he will make himself known in the life of that Christ-ian or if not him, one of his agents. Reader, I am not speaking metaphorically or figuratively. I am speaking in terms of the supernatural certainly, but Reader, we trade in the supernatural and the unseen realm, do we not?

Do we not love God Who we have not seen?  Do we not love Christ, Whom we have not seen in His terrestrial form?  Do we not pray invisible prays to an invisible God? Is not the invisible eternal and the visible, temporal?  Do we not receive the “things of the Spirit?”  Do we not pray, worship and walk in the Spirit?  Reader, we trade in the invisible.  Therefore should it be a surprise to you that your enemy be invisible to sight but “seen” and known by faith? Reader, we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against….” Right? Right.

One (1) must know one (1) has an enemy and once one (1) knows one (1) has an enemy, one (1) must identify this enemy and why this enemy is an enemy and then how this enemy does his work. The enemy is God’s enemy and because we are in Christ and belong to God, God’s enemy and enemies are our enemies by association and because we are identifying with Christ and He with us….what privilege, what honour that He, the Son of God, identifies with us and we with Him….never lose that awesome amazement, Reader….Christ is not ashamed to call us brethen and He confesses us before our Father in Heaven….oh!!! reJOYce, Christ-ian for your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

With the privilege and honour of being associated with Christ comes a very dangerous backlash as well. As we are identified with Him, His enemy and enemies identify us, I say they identify us, I do not say, identify with us. The enemy runs his kingdom just like a ceo runs his organization or company.

There is a hierarchy in (s)atan’s world. (s)atan is not omnipresent, meaning he cannot be in all places as is God. Demons, his agents are not omnipresent either, but they have a communications system, we can call it the DCN, Demon’s Communication Network.  Reader, I am not joking or trying to be funny….we trade in the supernatural and therefore our enemy is supernatural…do not write this off as make-believe.

The DCN communicates and works together like any human institution, organization, business or industry.  The things here on earth are merely shadows of that which are in the heavens. I know a guy who has been pulled out of his bed, had items moved and replaced. This guy woke from a nap and there was a garotte laying next to him…..a sign of warning? Reader, does this supernatural, very experienced and intelligent enemy know your name?

The context of the top quoted verse above is this: There were seven (7) sons of one (1) Sceva. These men were exorcist for hire of some sort. These men tried to remove an evil spirit or demon from a man, but they could not, but the demon-empowered man attacked them and ripped at their clothing. The demon said, that it was familiar with “Jesus” (Note, the devil did not give Christ His rightful title of Lord, do you?) and with Paul but did not know the seven (7) sons of Sceva, “…Jesus I know, and Paul I know: but who are ye?”

So again I ask, Does the enemy know your name? Do you know and acknowledge you have an enemy? Are you aware that you wrestle against unseen enemies? Or do you even wrestle? Does the enemy know your name?

If you are a Christ-ian that lives the faith and walks in the Spirit and walks as the Lord walked when He was terrestrial, you could expect visits from the enemy. If you are a pew warmer or just a saved and warm body, you need not fear catching the attention of God’s enemy and enemies. BUT if you are one that has that “JOY JOY JOY DOWN IN MY HEART where?…DOWN IN MY HEART where  …Down in MY heart and if the devil doesn’t like it, he can sit on a tac, sit on a tac, if the devil doesn’t like it, he can sit on a tac.”  That is a wonderful children’s song I learned from my Aunt, Saint Romelle. If you are one (1) that lives a loud, forward, exciting Christ-ian life, you can expect the DCN to know your name.

The DCN will gaslight you if you are an Intentional and serious, sober and vigilant servant of Christ, things will be moved to another place, items will disappear with no explanation, disembodied voice might speak short one liners. You might be threatened in a way only you will understand. If this is you, know this: God Knows and is aware. You are in a safe place, do not doubt that. It is a paradox: The safest place is the most dangerous place. Being in God’s will and under His protection is a dangerous but safe place to be.  It is a paradox, I know, but it is as it is.

(s)atan aka God’s lap dog, knows me. Does he know you?

“Predestined To Be Christ-like Not Holy Ghostlike” Or “Wresting The Scriptures” Or “I Know What You Need More Than God Does…Trust Me”

“…the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men…”  (Genesis 6)

It is a rare thing for me to say I am disappointed with John Calvin or Arthur Pink. But I must confess my disappointment with them on one (1) point.  Genesis six (6)  In Genesis six (6) the Scriptures are as plain and clear as they could possibly be yet commentaters like Calvin twist them and Pink avoids it altogether. Matthew Henry as well deceives us in what is clear. Reader, these men are very loved by this writer. I still love them, yet I am greatly disappointed in them.

In Genesis six (6) we are told plainly that the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men and the offspring were giants, men of renown. Could it be plainer? Fallen angels had relations with human women and the product of this intercourse was giants. This is where Goliath and other giants and “mighty men” came from.  Could this explain how David’s mighty men could kill eight-hundred (800) warriors with a spear?  I know not but it is a thought is it not.

Commentaters say that the sons of God were really from the “godly line of Seth.”  Others say, these were giants-sized men that had relations with women. And others say, they were not giant but greatly wealthy men that came in unto the daughters of men.  Good grief, Why would otherwise faithful and loyal commentaters wrest and twist these Scriptures? Reader is this not like saying 3+2 = 1  or 2+2= 5?

Am I the one (1) that is off or are these good servants of the Lord playing Holy Spirit and telling us what they think is best for us concerning Genesis six (6), pray tell.

Really, give me feedback if you will…what do you think?  Rob I know where you stand.

Reader, The quoted texts above are all the Bible has to say on the subject of homosexuality, that i know of. A person with litle intellegence would be able to see what God thinks and says of man on man and woman on woman. This article is not going to be an attack upon the homosexual. This article will be a lesson on the “alternative” life-style. This alternative life-style has not only become an acceptable way of life, it has become a protected way of life.  If one (1) speaks negatively regarding the life-style, one (1) will be labeled a Homophobe, biggot, racist, and hater. If one questions the gay life-style, with and in sincerety, one (1) will be attacked even physically attacked.

We learn from Romans 1 that God is not judging homosexuality, but homosexuality IS the Judgment of God upon a people and peoples that despise Him.

Can a homosexual be a Christ-ian? Yes. but with all sin and sins one must fight against the old man, the carnal man. Can a greedy person be a Christian? Can a Glutton be a Christ-ian? Can a murderer be a Christ-ian? My point is: SIN is SIN, James tells us if one (1) law is broken all the law is broken. Did not Christ sacrifice HimSelf for all sin and sins?

The question that should be asked is:  Does God find pleasure and purpose in the homosexual?  God uses the homosexual and his life-style and world-view and actions as the texts above pronounce and proclaim.

How is the Christ-ian to deal with the homosexual? judgment upon humanity. God does not find pleasure in the homosexual as the quoted  Simple….Love thy neighbor as thyself. The Christ-ian is against this life-style and s/he is obligated by the Scriptures to warn the sodomite and others against this life-style. BUT when dealing with a person, that is part of the movement, one (1) should do as Christ has taught us, Love your enemy and do right by them.

What is the Homophile Christ-ian who has same sex attraction to do?
*Pray, pray, and pray. Be honest with God.
*Do not become active in the gay life-style.
*Marry a Christ-ian woman and do what a heterol-sexual man would do.

*The homosexual is a person that is “all in.”
*The Homophile is attracted to the same sex, but does not act upon the inclinations.

I know this sounds easier than doing it. HOWEVER!!! God says in Isaiah 56:4,

“For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbath, and choose the things that please [M]e and take hold of [M]y covenant; Even unto them will I give in [M]ine house and within [M]y walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.

I know not what all that means, but I know God and God will do more for you than you can ask for and or even think about.

Godspeed.

“More On Dealing With Cults” Or “The Blinding Of The Cults” Or “The Blindness Of The Cults And Their Victims Part (2) Two” AND “Dealing With Demonic Attacks Upon Your Person And Yes, They Are Real And They Are Many” AND “Calvinism Contrasted Against Arminianism”

“(s)atan blindeth the minds of them that believe not…”  (2 Corinthians 4)

As I have written and explained before Since being informed some time ago that many of my readers do not read “religiously” read hear and there I will, as God allows, will write on the same subjects here and there.  These subjects like all Scriptural subjects are important.  Our subject at hand, dealing with cults, is a vary practical and needful topic as these and their ilks are every where and they hide in plain sight.

I remember growing up to be very weary of “Jehovah’s” Witnesses. I was always told “they really know their (b)ible.” After I gained a working knowledge of God’s Word this stuck in my head. This is true and false.  The Witness knew “Their” (b)ible very well, but not the Word of God. Since then, I can tell you, they are easy to dispatch in a discussion of THE Truth. One (1) need not fear the Witness and one (1) should, with a small amount or training or self study can dismantle the deceiver.

We do not brag on our ability to confront the great liar but use our experience as that is the only thing we have to work with and work from.

Dealing with the J. Witness:
*Through prayer confess your intellectual and spiritual dependness upon God’s Presence, Power, and thank Him for the Privilege.
*Prepare by thinking upon Biblical truths that speak against the Witnesses and their lies.
*Approach the deceiver as a wolf in sheep’s clothing, so to speak. Approach the enemy as a clever serpent. Use their own trick against them.  When approaching them ask in a very friendly voice and a smile and inquire, “Are you J. Witnesses?”
*When they make the mistake and answer foolishly, “We are.”  There are ALWAYS Always, two (2).  Just as Christ sends His out (2×2) so does the impostor.  One (1) is an experienced deceiver and the other is a deceiver in training. When you start your attack “out of no where,”  address the young one. The older is most likely, humanly speaking, a spiritual loss and reprobate.  However, never lose hope that God may speak to the older as well. Reader, there is ALWAYS hope.
*If the deceivers have already began their attack upon their victim, listen quietly as you have already made them think, you are only interested in hearing what they have to say.
*Then at some point bring up in a nice manner and sounding inquisitive about Christ’s deity. When they say, and they will,  “we don’t teach that.” ask with a bit of surprise, “What?” again ask if genuinely shocked and surprise, “What, doesn’t Scripture teach plainly that Christ is Jehovah in the flesh?”  When they say, “No,”  or Yes  and try to get out of trouble, The gig is up and you can start to be honest and dismantle them piece by piece. Do not show mercy…not the slightest.
*Passages you will use is Exodus 3.  In Exodus 3, Jehovah reveals Himself to be “I Am.”  Ask them Who this is and then ask hem why their “(b)ible changes this from “I Am” to “I was?”  Then ask them why Christ reveals Himself to be “I Am” in John 8:58.  Ask them Who the First (1st) and the Last is in the O.T. They will say, Jehovah, Then ask how Christ can use the same in Revelation?
*These will be on the run and their victim will recognize this but will probably not really be swayed because they are lost anyway.
*BUT, then bring up what IS important to them…bring up that fact that the Witness forbid, Christmas, the celebration of birthdays, Some medical treatments, especially blood treatments.  Also bring up their refusal to defend their country in times of war and refuse to serve in the military….these should have an effect on the potential victims.
After this ask if they believe in Christ’s teaching on Hell.  Even most persons are lost they do have a view…a right view of Hell and this will sting.  The lost do not want to go to Hell and doubt they are going but they know someone they want in hell.

One (1) should not expect either of the deceivers to repent and believe then and there but be prayerful that God may make something you said act as a seed or water upon a seed previously planted and trust God to give the increase.  Also pray that their false witness has been plucked up by the Spirit of God and that it should not grow up in the mind of the potential victim. Something else you might do is have a tract ready that demonstrates more of the poison of the false witness. Tracts are available by searching on line.

Reader, With a little practice, study, training, or instruction one (1) can easily dispatch, dismiss, dismantle, destroy the false witness and enemy of God and Spiritual Truth.  If anyone every desires instruction please call upon me.  I will show you what God has given me and we can pray and ask God’s Presence be upon you.

Dealing with Mormons and Muslims:
*Both these cults can be dealt with easier than the above cult.
*In Galatians 1:8 Paul warns his reader and us not to believe any other Gospel even if angels preach it.  Both the Mormons and muslims believe “a gospel” presented to their founders by angels.  The former believe the angel Moroni revealed “their gospel” to the pedophile Mohammad. The angel (demon posing) as Gabriel revealed the “Mormon’s false Gospel to John Smith a most wicked man.
*Another point against the Mormons, Muslims, And J. Witnesses is how they can break a primary warning in both the Old Testament and the New.  In Genesis, Proverbs, and Revelation the Holy Spirit warns it’s readers not to “add to or subtract” any words from it’s contents.  All three (3) cults do so.   The Jehovah’s Witness make their own version, The New World” translation that has been revised (changed) numerous times. The Muslims use the great perversion, the Quran. The Mormons add “the third Testament” called, “The Book of Mormon.”  All three (3) should be disqualified on this point alone.

The above truths and weapons demonstrate the blinding of the unbelieving as Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 4 and writes in Galatians 1:8 about the angels and their false Gospels.

Another point that is so clear is the false prophecy of the J. Witnesses.  These blinded deceivers and deceived liars state in their history how their leaders met with Christ years ago in a “secret chamber.”  Christ in the Gospel of Luke 12:3 forewarns that a false Christ would come and invite them to meet Christ in the “secret chamber!!!!!!”  I am not making this up but obviously, they are.  This again demonstrates their spiritual blindness and (s)atan’s power over them.

However, this should not be surprising.   Multitudes of lost and (s)atanicly blinded persons in ages past, today, and for the future shall believe that salvation is by “good works” and a good life and by being the proverbial, “good” person.  Many of the lost have a misplaced faith either in the “love” of God or they have a trust in the “pride of life.”

“God is Love.”  While this is written and true, it should be understood in context and compared with other Scripture.  C.S. Lewis writes, “God is love but love is not God.” What insight!!!  It is true that God is love to those He loves but He is hate to those He hates. While God is gracious and merciful to those He chooses to love, He is hate to those He hates, Malachi 1, Psalms 5, Romans 9, Revelation 2 John 8, 17 and common spiritual sense. While God has mercy and compassion to those whom He will be merciful and compassionate, He will harden whom He will harden.

John writes about the “Pride of life.”  This is when someone trusts in their “life well lived.” They trust they will attain Heaven by the goodness of their life.  They believe this in light of what God says, good works are “as filthy rags” or bloody menstrual  pads. God also says, “by works shall no flesh be justified.”  Further more, “There are none that doeth good, no NOT ONE.”  Christ even asked, “Why callest thou [M]e good…” when the rich man sought to follow Him.  By the way, Christ refused his request as He does all that come to Him of their own volition.  God MUST…Must…Must initiate all between Himself and the sinner, their be no Scriptural exception, though preachers dismiss this truth each and every Sunday!!!

Reader, Let me confess and concede something, It will be scary to assert yourself into a situation with the enemy.  I must also concede, God has filled me with His Spirit which allows me to approach and attack with ease and confidence in His abiding and aiding Spirit that allows me to strive against the enemy with abandonment.  The Lord has trained me in the Scriptures, He has taught me about cults and has filled me with great boldness.  However, even if God hath not “filled” you with this boldness, He has provided His Word and has raised up others to provide instruction on warring against the enemy of God, God’s Word, and the enemy of every Christ-ian AND lost person.

A testimony: We have, on many occasions, gone after the witnesses of (s)atan.  When they come to my neighborhood they come when they think I will be having services at my home, but this does not stop us.  These liars have repeatedly launched attacks on neighbors to my left if facing my front door from the outside, and a cross the street, on the right and left if looking outside from my front window. We see their ilk in restaurants on Saturdays and Sundays and catch them attacking other neighbors when I am driving.  We rarely pass up the privilege to attack, using our method from above.

One (1) should remain until the homeowner asks you to leave or until the liars run off.  The homeowner most likely will not run you off, they are enjoying this. If the home owner wanted the liars there, they would already be inside. If you are known by the homeowner or are even familiar to them, and the liars are already inside, do not let this stop you from attacking. Knock on the door and tell them you observed they were having a Bible study and ask, with an innocent and naive manner if you might join them. It is rare for the home owner to say no, because they are hoping you might break the awkwardness. Once you are behind enemy lines, follow my instructions from above.

It is a blessed thing when you are known by these enemies of Christ and His cross.  If you are known by these enemies, you can believe you are known by the demons of (s)atan.  We have experienced numerous physical attacks and have been the focus a demonic gas-lighting. We have launched an attack on (s)atan and his foolish minion by attacking cults and verbally mocking him and his.  I would not recommend the latter…do not mock the enemy, he will answer.  many do not believe my experiences and that is fine, I only ask them three (3) questions:
*Do you believe the Bible’s record on demons and their leader?  Do you believe in man’s fall at the hand of (s)atan?
*Do you believe demons exist today?
*Do you believe they are active today?
*Then what do you think they are doing today, just sitting around doing nothing like many Christ-ians?
*When they answer in the affirmative, ask them why they doubt you, ask if they think you are outright lying?

We have experienced being pulled from our bed and tossed, not just falling out of the bed….I know the difference. Bed sheets have been tugged, my wife and I have heard disembodied voices, and have items moved too many times to itemize, my wife can attest to some of these. many other believers have experienced some of the above but refuse to attest to them or confess them due to their fear of not being believed by those that should believe them.

A rebuke to demon-deniers:
*
Do you believe in God, what gives you your information on God?  Does not the same source tell you of demons?  Does not Christ Himself speak of demons and does not the Scriptural record speak to demons and their activity in both the Old and New Testament?”  They will answer yes from the corner you have placed them in.
*Ask them if they think you are lying and others who, bravely, tell of their experiences with the supernatural.
*Ask them if they believe in angels and their intercession according to God’s will. Then ask them why they do not “ACTIVELY” believe in demons and their activity against God’s people.
*The unfortunate truth is they disbelieve and doubt because they have never experienced anything, as they pose no danger to the spiritual world or doubt their experiences and chalk them up to natural causes like memory.
*They are like Thomas in their unbelief. They will not believe until they see.  However, let me say this, One (1) should not see a demon behind every bush, nor should they refuse that there are demons behind some bushed though they be few.  Most believers will not have an encounter with the demonic that cannot be explained away. “Many are [the victims of the demonic] but few [understand it].

To be sure, this is one (1) of the Scriptural truths that one (1) can lose one’s credibility when writing about and discussing. To the praise of God, this is not something I need to fear because:
*I have no credibility with some, due to my age, and lack of “formal Biblical training.” This is true, though I would, with God’s allowance, put my Biblical knowledge against any person’s Biblical indoctrinations.  Your writer, by God’s grace and instruction, has, and will put my Holy Spirit’s training toe to toe with anyone, and I say this as a fool and unlearned fisherman. I also have lost credibility with some who are of the Arminian camp, as I am one (1) that teaches classic Christ-ianity and the doctrines of grace found in Christ-ianity’s teaching and in the Scriptures.  Arminianism has been deemed heretickal centuries ago and the doctrines of grace or “Calvinism” upheld.  This is Christ-ian and historical fact!!!

Arminianism is what is taught in the majority of evangelical churches each Sunday, as Arminianism preached free-will salvation, IE. any person can be saved at any time and anywhere they decide. Wherein Scripture teaches that God has chosen who will be saved, when, where, and how they will be saved.  The sinner must be regenerated by the Holy Spirit allowing them to be born again and then discloses to them the Gospel and all that Christ has done for them personally, and specifically in His passion.  This work of the Holy Spirit allows them and causes them to understand, repent, and then believe unto salvation.

Therefore, having written the above two (2) paragraphs, I need not fear losing credibility. Those that know me know and trust my credibility and once others come to know me, so do they.  I write this because it is already true of some and can or will become true of others.  Leave your reputation in God’s Hands. He will take care of the rest. Most of God’s servants have spent time in prison and had reputations of evil-doers….especially, Christ.

Godspeed.

” Reconciling The Doctrine Of Human Depravity With ‘People Are Basically Good’ ” Or “The Civil Citizen” Or “Aligning What Scripture Says With Life Experience”

“…[E]very imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”  (Genesis 6)

“[Man is] Being filled with all unrighteousness…”  (Romans 1)

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood…”  (Ephesians 6)

“If God be for us, who can be against us…”  (Romans 8)

Reader, we all live in the world even though we are not of the world, for God chose to take us out Adam or the world and to put us in Christ. Paul says, “I wrote unto you in an epistle not to keep company with fornicators: Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with covetous, or with extortiomers, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.”  Paul’s point is not to fellowship with an individual we know are pleasuring in carnal sins. But if we were to avoid all adulters in the world, we would have to leave the world. His point is we cannot avoid dealing with sinners in everyday life.

How can we reconcile the passages above with our everyday experience with sinners who have only evil imaginations and are filled with all unrighteousness? Then how do we reconciles the Bible with life when we find ourselves wrestling with flesh and blood when Scripture tells us we do not wrestle against flesh and blood. Or what are we to think when Scripture tells us no one can be against us if God is for us, but we find persons being against us?  How do we reconcile these?  Is the Bible wrong?  Are the Scriptures out of touch with our times?

The Bible says one (1) thing but we experience another.  What do we do when we are told man is totally depraved, full of evil imaginations and are filled with all unrighteousness, but in our everyday experience we find others to be cordial and civil or at other times we find ourselves wrestling against the flesh and blood of others. What are we to think?

The Scriptures are true and we can reconcile them to our everyday experiences.
*Man IS depraved but can be civil citizens.
*We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, we wrestle with that which influences flesh and blood. The believer trades in that which is unseen.
*God is for us and even though we see and think persons, people or the world may overtake us, we must walk by faith and not sight.  In light of eternity nothing anyone says or does againist you or I will matter.

The Doctrine of Human Depravity:

The doctrine of human depravity states that all of humanity, every single person is effected by the consequences of the fall.  When Adam took of the fruit, all life going forward would be tainted by that fall from God’s Eden. With that said, every aspect of every person is infected with the fall.  Man’s mind, imagination, spirit, soul, body, outlook is poisoned. The spirit of man was murdered at and from the beginning. The human person has no living spirit inside of them. The soul that encases the spirt is there but the spirit itself is dead towards God and all things holy and godly, ‘The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit ….”  Man is “dead in trespasses and sins.”  Man is “being filled with all unrighteousness…”

Though the above be true and is Scriptural, persons we engage every day seem to “be basically good.”  The Scriptures state, “There is none that doeth good, no not one.”  When the rich man approached Christ calling Him Good, Christ responded, “Why calleth thou [M]e good?…”  We must realize, understand, and acknowledge that there are to states of man. There is the natural man or the old man inside of us and then there is the spiritual man inside of us, “The flesh wars against the spirit.” With the Christ-ian we are dual as stated in the last sentence, but with the unsaved or unregenerate man, he is only natural with no living spirit that connect him to God.

The unregenerate, the depraved, the lost, have nothing connecting them to God and lest God initiates and gives new life to that dead spirit it will remain dead and at enmity against God. The Puritans called the lost, “Civil citizens.” They acknowledged the civil citizen pays bills, has morals, lives ethically, these citizens are pleasant, yet they will still die and go to Hell.  Depravity does not speak to the unsaved and their relationship with  the Christ-ian, but to the unsaved and their broken relationship to God.

We might say a person is decent and good as compared with a person that is evil. However God has a different standard, How does the decent and good person compare to Christ. Christ is the Standard and not the person considered to be an evil man. Most persons are “good” if compared to Hitler. But that is not the standard of judgment. When man is compared to Christ, man missed the mark and is found undone amd wanton. This is human depravity.

The confusion enters when someone comments on a person who has perpetrated a heinous crime as being depraved.  The average person will acknowledge John Wayne Gacy, Ted Bundy and other serial killers are depraved.  Most agree, Hitler was a depraved human being. However, this is a wrong usage of the word. Every human, that has not been saved are depraved as depraved deals with the natural mans spiritual condition and connection to God. The men mentioned above are evil, wicked, reprobated, and depraved.  The average “good person” or civil citizen is not, in our eyes and dealings, evil, wicked or bad, yet they are depraved. I trust this makes sense, if not I have failed to communicate clearly and one should not think they are not “getting it.”

“We wrestle not against flesh and blood...”  But I do wrestle against flesh and blood in everyday life. I wrestle with persons at work, at school, at the grocery store, in my family, with my friends, etc., some may say. Paul is not speaking to persons we deal with in everyday life.  Paul is speaking to authorities, governments, powers, and persons in control of others. These persons in high places are being influence and in some cases, oppressed by the demonic influences.  This does not take away or dismiss their responsibility, remember their spirit is dead, their imaginations are evil continually, and are and have been filled with all unrighteousness.

Scripture states very clearly, (s)atan blinds the minds of unbelievers and unbelievers are taken captive as (s)atan’s wills. With all this influence, human responsibility is not erased, those influenced by outside powers are, will be, and should be held accountable to man and God. This is why Paul exhorts and encourages us to pray for leaders and provoke others to good works.

“If God be for us, who can be against us?”  But there are so many enemies at the gate, there are so many who hate us and are killing our brethren.  How do we align what we experience and see with this promise of God?

When God speaks about things like this we must understand that He is looking at the BIG PICTURE and eternity. We must understand that we walk by faith and not by sight, we must understand that we are spiritual beings dealing with the unseen. Therefore, in the BIG PICTURE and as spiritual beings, no one can harm us. No one can touch our soul or separate us from God and His great love and faithfulness.

If the Christ-ian is to experience and enjoy God and Salvation, must understand that s/he is spiritual and when being engaged by God or engaging God (John 4) s/he must do so, “in the spirit.” while walking in the Spirit, walking by faith, and “reaching forth unto those things which are before [us]” we must look to the BIG PICTURE that God is painting.

“Nothing New Under The Sun” Or “Nothing New Under The Cresent Muslim Moon” Or “Luther and Calvin Vs. Mohhamed: A Reformation Day Celebration Of Speaking Against The Muslim Death Cult”

“[T]here is no new thing under the sun…”  (Ecclesiastes 1)

“But though we or an angel from heaven, preach any other [G]ospel unto you, than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other [G]ospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.  (Galatians 1)

Let me point a few things out from the the second (2nd) text from above.  Paul is doubling down and cementing, writing in stone, if you will, the Gospel of Christ.  Paul is warning the believers in Galatia and cities that would receive this epistle after the Galatians send it forward, that there will be some kind of counterfeit Gospel coming their way. This may be a presupposition on Paul’s part but Paul understands human nature and that there be anti-christs in the world already.  Paul knew false apostles would come, he speaks of this in 2 Corinthians.

Paul, like Christ warned the flock, (we are included in this flock) that many would come in His name. In the case of the former letters bearing his name would be sent, but these false and counterfeit letters should not be believed. In the latter, Christ said, many will come in His Name and even some claiming His Name.

In both cases we are given knowledge as to recognize the false from the genuine. Paul taught the Gospel, plain and simple, he called it “my Gospel.” So he tells the believers not to believe anything bearing his name even if it looks authentic.  Christ tells us that He will come with great Power and great Glory from the sky, therefore one should never trust anyone claiming to be Christ if they come any other way.

Three (3) cults have not heeded this warning. These three (3) cults are:
*Islam
*Jehovah’s Witnesses
*Mormons.

In the case of the first (1st) and the third (3rd), they both have fallen for a false Gospel from an Angel.  They purport to believe the Bible and love Christ, yet they both break a main law of the Bible In Deuteronomy, Proverbs, and Revelation, we are warned NOT to add to the Words of Scripture.  There are harsh warning for anyone who does so. However, Both cults, Islam and Mormonism receive their revelation from angels, which Paul spoke specifically, and especially about. In the case of Islam, it was a demon in the guise of Gabriel. In the case of the mormons, it was the demon-angel, Moroni.

In the case of the J. Witnesses, these wicked and false prophets profess to have met with Christ in a secret chamber years ago.  The dynamic of (s)atanic blinding is demonstrated here, for sure. Christ specifically….specifically, and clearly…clearly, precisely said when they say come and see Christ, He is in the secret chamber do not go, do not believe.  This, Reader, demonstrates how easily it is for a demon to be transformed into an angel or minister of light.  These cults, all three (3) of them demonstrate how the serpent beguiled Eve. The Christ-ian must be vigilant, so he is not deceived.

The islamic death cult is not new to our world.  The death cult was not born on September eleventh (11th). Most became aware of them and their wicked death cult on that day in September, but they are not a new enemy and enemy they are. The Christ-ian is opposed to the muslim religion and the other two (2) cults named above, make no mistake. How should we deal with these enemies? In the case of the individual cultist, we can be diplomatic and love them as our enemy….as our enemy.  We should be cordial and courteous. As to the cult as a whole we are at war and we are not to give an inch, We must understand that they defy Christ and therefore the Father.

There is nothing that is new under the sun or the muslim’s cresent moon. When God says, “Esau have I hated” He is speaking about (m)uslims. The Crusaders fought against the [m]uslims, then called the [t]urks.  Martin Luther, John Calvin and others among the reformers warned and spoke against the [t]urks.

Calvin said, “And therefore let us mark well, that we must hold [ourselves] to the pure religion.” Calvin continues, ” Devilish curiosity is not contented to be taught simply by the Holy Scriptures! Behold also- where upon the religion of the Turks is founded! Mahomet has reported himself to be the party that should bring full revelation – over and besides the Gospel.”

Luther as well supported a just war against the islamic, Turkish, Ottoman Empire.  C.S. Lewis said, “Islam is only the greatest of Christian heresies.”

Thomas Jefferson, in his time, was made to deal with the islamic cult of death as well. The Tripoli pirates were islamic and had to be dealt with. A senator, Keith Ellison, Senator from Minnesota is Muslim and was sworn in on Thomas Jefferson’s Quran. I learned this from Janet Parshall on 1160 AM.

The false prophet media made a big deal about this, Jefferson had a Quran!!! how ecumenical and welcoming he was of the islamic death cult. Nope!!! Wrong!!!  Wrong!!!  Wrong !!! Jefferson had the copy of the Quran so he might know how to defeat them and what to expect from them.  Reader, one must know the enemy if the enemy is to be endured and someday defeated. I own a copy of the unholy book of the islamic death cult….and believe me, I am not welcoming or frightened by the cult of death.

Churchill warned us about the islamic death cult in his day as well.  The Puritans knew about the cult of death, as well.  Jonathan Edward wrote extensively on the islam death cult in his, “History of Redemption.”

What are we to do with cults like the Mormons, the [m]uslims, and the Jehovah Witnesses. Personally, I treat Mormons with cordiality and civilness as they are. what the Puritans would call, Civil Citizens.  Muslims, I sometimes ask how they follow a pedophile and a man of violence, never is an a answer given, but maybe a seed planted. As to The Witnesses, i run them off. If I see them talking to someone in a home’s doorway, I invite myself into the discussion and run them off…I am not kidding. I ran two (2) off last Sunday before services. An Analogy:  The Witnesses are a kin to someone coming to your door and offering you the cure for cancer, all you have to do is sell them your soul and after that the cancer is still corrupting.

Understand me clearly, the Christ-ian can be cordial and civil to cultist, but the Christ-ian cannot stand and watch and allow the cultist to spread their spiritual and cancerous corruption of lies.  It must not stand. One can simply say, “Excuse me, are you J. Witnesses?”  When they affirm your suspision, you can tell the potential victim that they are liars and deceivers, tell them they do not believe in Christmas (neither do I, but most do), birthdays or giving blood when needed. Tell them they call Christ a liar by denying His teachings on His Own Deity and His teachings on Hell.

That’s all you have to do to stop the spead of the spiritual cancer of cults. It might seem rude but what is rudeness when compared to eternal torments and the pleasuring of God. Yes, God loves it when I do what I do, that’s why I do it.

“Blessedness of Brotherhood” Or “I Can Punch My Brother In The Jaw, But Another Had Better Not” Or “The Anchor Of Christ-ian Brotherhood”

“I withstood Peter to his face…”  (Galatians)

There should be a comforting and settled acknowledgement between Christ-ian brethren. That acknlowledgement is loyalty and faithfulness in accordance with the truth of Scripture and Christ-ian composure and conduct. In other words, I should be able to have a knock down, drag out fight with a Christ-ian over important issues and not have a fear of any kind of broken fellowship or backlash. And having said that, that brother and i should have an understanding that we will still remain Blood bretheren and though we might go head to toe, if anyone outside the blood-bought fellowship “lay hands suddenly” upon either of us, we both will stand with the other. Certainly one must never abuse this bond or Blood-binding, but it must be present.

I have a brother that has a problem with C.S. Lewis. I understand that a lot of believers from a certain camp are greatly prejudiced against Lewis so I know not if my brother is simply using their bullet points, having never read Lewis, or if he has read Lewis and has specific and precise points against Lewis. I completely understand if he is the former.  I was there once.  I remember legalists speaking against Billy Graham and reading articles ands booklets fundementalists put out against Billy Graham and I believed it all, why wouldn’t I….these are my brethren telling me he’s a bad man…he’s a puppet of the vatican.

But…but…BUT…On the day of my ordination, still thinking ill of Billy Graham, I heard a man I respect speak well of  Graham in a passing comment. This caught me by surprise, but I was in a place where I have been starting to see problems with my legalist brethren. This really stuck with me. I bit the bullet and purchased some books by Billy Graham.  I felt duped but learned a lesson. Billy Graham, was a sound and faithful servant of Christ.  I did not find any of the things the legalist spoke of.  I was angered. My anger grew when I realized how they denigrated a great servant like Graham while holding up an apostate and adulterer like Jack Hyles.  I understand that comments like that may hurt people, but God Bless it….Do we judge righteoius judgment or do we have respect of persons?  To defend a sociopath like Jack Hyle and denigrate a man like Billy Graham is ungodly…..it is what Ezekiel spoke to, They are strengthening the wicked while tearing down the righteous.

These persons would right hateful rhetoric against Grahan and then wear idolatrous buttons saying, One-Hundred percent Hyles (100% Hyles). WHAT???!!! CAN ONE (1) serve two (2) masters? how can one (1) be One-hyndred percent Hyle (1oo% Hyles) and still be One-hundred percent Christ (100% Christ).  HOW??? HOW??? HOW???  You cannot. One can only follow another person as the former follows Christ.  When someone meanders of the “Way” we do not follow them.  I understand that one may be thinking, “I thought we should be loyal and faithful to the brethren.”  You are right,  However, how can I consider these persons that are following a man off the path as my brethren.  One hath to come to a point and “with[stand] Peter (or whoever) to there face.”  Why? because they are “to be blamed.” Paul tells us to “withdraw [ourselves]” and to “Have no fellowhip.”

I can still be a loving brother to the brother that has a problem with Lewis, but it is something we will need to discuss and understand.  We’ll need to understand his specific issues with Lewis and address them.  I trust this is making sense. But to clarify, we, as brethren can disagree on issues….of course not cardinal issues and we cannot stand with others who have been compromised and a spirit, not consistent with Christ-ian love, that manifests itself. While I may agree on many doctrines with a legalist, I cannot have a real and consistent fellowship with one (1) that can speak ill of a good man while bearing false witness and overlooking real sin in another….this is blatant pharisaical hypocrisy Christ spoke against.

Having written all of that, let me explain further, while I cannot have a sincere and honest relationship with the type of persons I spoke about above, I can have fellowship where real love and consistent Christ-ian character, exists even in the face of disagreement on secondary issues.  The man I spoke about above that has a problem with Lewis…if he supported a man like Hyles…we could not have a pure and real brotherhood. His character and judgment would be greatly compromised. However, though he once was a supported of the legalist pope, Hyles, he has seen reality and turned from it.  This man, though he may have a problem with Lewis (whether right or wrong) I find in him an honest and open willingness to consider issues from a point of purity.

There are other brethren that are difficult to get along with due to personality clashes. However, a personality clash cannot be a sound, good, or wise reason to break fellowship with another.  This is where I say, one (1) must love a brother even if one (1) does not like the brother. This of course cannot be a cloke of mistreatment.  One (1) cannot say to another “I might have to love you but I do not have to like you and therefore, I am going to treat you in an un-Christ-ian manner.” No. No. No….You may not like a believer but you cannot treat them poorly and then pretend to love them with a Christ-ian love….it does not work that way. In a situation like this, one (1) must curb their dislike for another, be couteous, and always be prepared to be a very present and honest help to that brother. There is no getting around this.

Personally, I do not think Peter and James got along with Paul and Paul did not get along with them. They all had very strong personalities and when you see them together there is usually some kind of “this world is not big enough for the two (2) of us to get along.”  I think this is why the Spirit sent James and Peter to the Jews and Paul to the Gentiles.

Don’t get me wrong they work together and supported each other in their writings and speaking, but I think it obvious that they worked well together from a distance.  This I understand so well.  I love my brethren to the death, but I am one (1) that works better with others from a distance. Look at Paul again….he had issues with Peter and James at different times…not in doctrine but in personalities.  Also consider Paul and Barnabas, they worked well together, but again issues arose and they too broke their working relationship. Their love remained, I am certain, but personality got in the way. This happens and should be accepted.

Many of the servants of Christ have strong personalities. This is a boldness they have been filled with and sometimes that mean distance needs to be kept, though their hearts are knitted together and their minds share a likemindedness. There is a reason for this.  I love to be around the people of Christ….I love my brethren and if we could all move into a huge Christ-ian compound, I would do it in a second. And there in lays the problem.  It is not Christ’s will that we all remain in the upperroom together. He has filled His servants with a boldness that would not make this possible.

We see this in Scriptural example.  Abraham and Lot had to be split up.  Saul and David would not be able to get along.  Elijah would not get the spirit of Elijah or Elijah’s mantle until Elijah was taken. In the case of the prophets, God would send them to different areas, though they were contemporaries of one another.

An example or an analogy: When I was in the world, I worked in the landscape industry. I was very good at my job as God had provided me with the faculties to do well and he gave me favour with the persons that mattered to my career. They were others with the same skills, we were friend and enjoyed each others company, but if we all worked together and send them men under our watch to work over there, while we worked together, the work produced would not be consistent. If we stuck together we would work faster and our work would be better than the unexperienced.

We that had the experience, knowledge and experience had to divide ourselves to supervise and train those that we were to supervise. By doing this, the work produced would be consistent and would move along at a good pace. We see this in the case of Moses and the twelve (12) spies. The twelve spies influenced one another and the outcome was negative. Joshua learned from this and when he sent spies, he would send only two (2) Joshua learned it was better to use his resources differently.

I trust the above makes sense to you, Reader.  It is our hope to be a help to you in your walk with God, while sojourning in this world. We also hope to show you a great God that is worthy of your love, trust, and can be completely relied upon.

Godspeed.

“The Mouth Of Farrakhan Reveals the Heart Of Islam” Or “Aligning With The Enemy” Or “Sharpton, Jackson, Farrakhan Are A Unholy Trinity” “AND Evidence That Islam Is Of (s)atan”

“Mine [E]ye shall not spare thee..]  (Ezekiel 8)

Tonight on “Hannity,” Comments made by Louis Farrkhan revealed the heart of Islam’s hatred for Israel and by association America and God. Here are are the comments made by Farrakhan…and likewise, by association, Sharpton, Jessee Jackson, AND ………Bill Clinton (Cilinton shared the stage  when Farrakhan made a anti-Jew statement…).

*March 11, 1984- “Hitler was a great man.”
*March 24- “(s)atanic Jews control everything and everybody.”
*March 1 2015- Jews planned 9/11.
*February 25- Jews control government and Jews are my enemy.
*February 25- “By god’s (s)atan) grace Farrakhan (speaking as third (3rd) person or by   demon inside) pulled the cover off of that (s)atanic Jew.
*October 14th- “Don’t call me Anti-semite, call me determined (i think he said determined) Anti-termite,”

On one of these dates, Farrakhan stoof behind a pulpit that was marks with, “Saviors’s Day.”  Make no mistake, (s)atan is his god and saviour.  One commentater pointed out that Farrakhan made some of these statements in a Christ-ian Church.  Which means a so-called “(c)hrist-ian pastor” let him. Remember what Paul said, (s)atan’s demons and messengers transform themselves into angels of light.

This next statement may be taken as racist but it is not…it is simply a thought and a pondering.  I do not say i am right, i do not say this it true or good. It may be very bad….it’s a thought….was the mark of Cain black skin?  We do not say that black persons are of the Cain…No, No, No.  Some of the great preachers and servants of God are black men. Even if dark skin was the mark, Christ’s Blood broke that marking.

Think what you will about that statement…I am not a bigot or a racist…I am an independent thinker that thinks thoughts. Skin colors matters not to me at all…at all. What matters are thoughts, actions, intentions and motivations and not race or color or accsent. We are all one (1) in Christ as Paul stated in Colossians and that was a radical statement then…he points out that in Christ there is not man or woman, rich or poor, jew or gentile and if we follow this point to it’s logickal end, there is no black or white in Christ, in terms of race. One other thing to note, the Black Caucus welcomed Farrkhan to speak. Who are the real racists?

Christ-ian white straight fathers are under attack by the unholy Black and (s)atanic mobthink, gay (with an agenda) reprobate women who value animals more than human babies.  I know that. I know if somebody from the left were to read this they would fulfil prophecy by saying that the good and right and true is bad. The prophets would say, “Woe unto you that call evil good and good evil, and you are guilty of strengthening the bad and holding down the good.

This, Reader, is the world we are sojourning in…we are in the world but not of the world, for Christ has chosen each one (1) of us to be taken out of the world and out of Adam and put into Christ. Always remember this world is NOT our home, we are the citizens of Heaven. And know this: It is true that God’s ministers are ambassadors (not all Christ-ians are); the Christ-ian is always and everyday behind enemy lines. We live in the world that is ruled by (s)atan and, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places…..Washington D.C., Hollywood, and the public education system, and New “Yawk, city” New York. The word of York, from old english means pig farm….Remember Christ allowed The demon, Legion, to possess the pigs. God is sovereign over names too.

The evidence that Farrakhan and his ilk are not Christ-ian is simple. God blesses and loves those that love and honour Israel. These devils hate Israel, therefore, they cannot be Christ-ian.

Farrakhan, Jesse Jackson, and Sharpton are are like the Three wise men that came and gave gifts to the Christ child (it wasn’t three, I know and Christ wasn’t a new born when they came.) In the case of Farrakhan, J. Jackson, and Sharpton, they are the three (3) unwise and unholy men that bring gifts to (s)atan.

May God Damn them all….they are reprobates fitted for their life of crime and hypocrisy, and they were made for God to destroy them. They are descendents of Esau, the whole lot of them. AND GOD HATES ESAU and so do i.
Godspeed.

“The Bad Theology Behind A Crucifix” Or “The Cross Versus The Crucifix” Or “What Does A Cross And A Crucifix Necklace Have To Say?”

“And having made peace through the [B]lood of [H]is cross…..”  (Colossians 1)

Sometimes when I see a person wearing a Cross necklace, I ask them what it means to them. This evening I did just that, I asked a man what his cross necklace means to him?  It seems that it represents a lost loved one (1). This man did not correlate his Cross necklace with Christ. This is a kin to wearing a swastica and saying it represents peace. What I mean to say is this:  the Cross has come to represent anything a person wants it to represent. This world is at enmity against the Cross.

What is the difference between a Cross necklace and a crucifix? The Cross speaks to Christ’s Passion.  The crucifix speaks to a still dead Christ.  The crucifix is a great offence to anyone who loves the Living Lord Jesus. The crucifix also tells you all you need to know about the (c)atholic church.  The crucifix tells you the (c)atholic theatre (it’s not a church) is a religion of death. What ISIS is to the body, the (c)atholic theatre is to the soul and spirit of it’s victims.

The crucifix does not allow justification by faith because the (c)atholic (c)hrist is still dead.  The (c)atholic mass also speaks to death. The (c)atholic believes their priest has the power to change the wafer and the wine into the literal….I say literal body and blood of Christ.  This dogma teaches that Christ is being sacrificed over and over and over again and again and again and again.

The crucifix says there was no resurrection as their (c)hrist is still on the Cross. The (c)atholic (c)hrist is not the Christ of the Scriptures.  The (c)atholic (c)hrist is not the Son of the Living God. The (c)atholic (c)hrist is still on the Cross and is being sacrificed each time mass is taken.

“Different Types Of Sermons” Or “A Message From God” Or “How Does a Sermon/Message Differ From a Speech?”

“…[H]ow shall they hear without a preacher?”  (Romans 10)

Not every preacher is a pastor but every pastor is a preacher.  Not every sermon is a message from God. In the Old Testament Scriptures, it is written, “The Word of the LORD came to…”  or  “The Burden of the LORD came to…” Though we do not find this is the New Testament (or atleast I cannot think of an instance when it has been used at this moment) that does not mean that it has changed though somethings have changed. Today the minister does not hear from God audibally as did the prophets of old. But God still speaks to the mind of His ministers or atleast to those ministers with an ear to hear and a sensitivity to the Lord.

Having said that let me be clear not all messages are from God.  The carnal preacher will preach his own message or sermon or speech. Not all preachers are sent by God, many a preacher is self sent or family sent or even church sent, but God is not in it at all. These are the prosperity preachers, the preachers with dead messages, the activist ministers that act out against godliness…lezbian preachers, active homosexual preachers, women pastoring men, Apostles, etc. Any pastor, note, I wrote pastor, Any pastor that does not line up with First (1st) Timothy three (3) is not of God.

This is why a preacher must be differentiated from pastor. When God uses the pronouns he and him, that disqualifies two (2) of those from above right off the bat. When Paul says that he should be the husband of one (1) wife, that eliminates the homosexual. As for the “Apostle” (this is a thing of pride) the requirement fto be an apostle is to have seen the risen Christ. No one alive today has seen the risen Christ with their eyes. By faith, certainly, but by physical eye, no. The entire Apostolic church can be disqualified out right as they teach baptism and tongues are a requirement for salvation.

There are different types of the sermon.
*Topical
*Biographical
*Expository
*Extra-Biblical
*There can be others but these will suffice us.

The topical sermon is just as it sounds. The minister will preach or speak on a subject or a topic. This type can be useful when speaking to something that is current or “trending.” I call this the lazy preacher’s sermon when it is used incorrectly.  If a minister uses the topical all the time he is using it incorrectly. The pro’s of the topical sermon: *Cover much ground in a short amount of time.  *Address a current event and answer questions with a Christ-ian world view. *It is helpful to new Christ-ians, in that it can give the new believer a working knowledge of the cardinal and primary doctrines of the faith. Justification by faith is a good topical sermon, Sanctification, Election, Glorification, Perseverance of the believer, Forgiveness, God’s love, God’s Sovereignty, these are all good topical sermons. Topical preaching is good when visiting another church and preaching to an unknown crowd.

The cons of the topical sermon”  If the minister preaches only topically, he is a lazy preacher and one should wonder what he does with his time. Topical preaching can tempt the minister into giving his opinion to the flock rather than the Word of God to the flock or the whole counsel of God to the flock. If the minister is always preaching on current events, he is not in the Word as he should be.  There is a time and a place for topical preaching but it is not all the time.

Biographical:  This is a very helpful sermon.  One can learn what to do and what not to do, based off of the life of another. This can be inspiring as one might find themselves identifying with a man or a woman in the Scriptures. This type can also help a person forgive themself. They can see through the life or lives of others how that God does not turn His back on those He chooses to love.  They may see Moses commit murder or David adultery and learn that there is forgiveness in a Forgiving and merciful God. However, one should never think that others have gotten away with this, so can I.  That is not the point of the biographical sermon nor is it the way a Christ-ian thinks.

Expository: This is the best, the safest, and the most honest way of preaching. This type of preaching allows the Word of God to speak for itself. This type of preaching is by book, chapter, and verse. This is a verse by verse style.  It is line upon line, precept upon precept, hear a little and there a little.” With expository preaching the minister defines the Words when necessary. Synonyms for expository preaching are: unpacking, mining, digging, pulling out of, magnifying.

The expository preacher wants God to speak for Himself, he has no need or desire to opine. This type of preaching keeps the minister honest.  This type of preaching is laborious, one must labor to mine or unpack what is there in the passage. There is no adding to or taking away from in expository preaching.  There is no “interpreting” in expository preaching.  This preaching presents the listener, the hearer, s/he that hath an ear to hear with the exact meaning, purpose and teaching of the inspired writer.

Extra Biblical:  This is the wresting, twisting, and perverting of the Holy Scriptures. This is the preaching and teaching of the J. Witnesses, Mormons, Apostolics, Catholics, Universalists, Free-will Baptists, Charismatics, Easy Believers, etc.  Reader, you might ask how I know I’m correct.  I’ll give you three (3) answers:  *I am an expositional preacher and *I have had many discussions throughout the years with believers of other ways of thinking and they have not been able to support their extraBiblical beliefs, whereas, we have always been able to defend and support ours and I thank and praise God for teaching me through out the years.  My understanding of Scripture comes not from schools or even the churches i attended, but from the Spirit of God and His dead servant-writers. *I am not one to believe what I want to believe. Before I hold to a belief I put up obstacles to that possible belief.  If I can overcome obstacles, and it is logical, then I am on my way to holding fast to a belief.

As to how a sermon or a message differs from a speech…..A message is from God.  Sometimes, there is no difference.

Godspeed.
