“A Most Sober And Grave Subject” Or “How Should A Christ-ian Respond…Not React, But Respond To The Catholic Church And Sexual Abuse” Or “The Abuse Of Children Is Not New”

“Now the Spirit speaketh expressely, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devil’s; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats…”  (1 Timothy 4)

“And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire of Molech…”  (Leviticus 18)

“Suffer the little children to come to [M]e…”  (Mark 10)

Reader, If you have not watched and listened to AND HEARD the D.A. from Pennsylvania as he gave his report on the (c)atholic “church” and the sexual abuse of children, please do so. This report can be seen, listened to AND HEARD on Youtube. You might say, “I don’t want to listen to that stuff.”  I retort, Christ-ian, It matters not what you want or like. You, Christ-ian, are commanded in 1 Corinthians 2:15 to Judge all things.  How can you judge all things if you give in to yourself. We are to pray; our prayers must be informed if we are to pray effectively. We cannot close our eyes or turn our heads, we must look into the eyes of this foul and evil world, and let the spittle from our fervent prayers and cries smite the face and eyes of this ungodly world. It is your Christ-ian duty to know this and to act accordingly.

How should we feel about this news of sexual abuse? First let us think of the children that are now grown up and the children that are currently being victimized. Certainly we might feel like lashing out at the abusers but that is carnal and the Scriptures tell us the wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God.

The children and the now grown up abused should be our first (1st) concern. We must pray for them, we must weep with them. we must seek to minister to them. We must share the Gospel with them as not only have their bodies and minds been abused, their spirits have been abused. These persons have been lied to for their whole life. They are ripe for the Gospel. The Physician, the Great Physician is in His office and ready to see them and bring them healing, soul, spirit, and body.

Once we have spent time thinking, praying, and ministering to those that have been abused, we can turn to the abusers.

How should you feel? Are you allowed to feel angry? Should you be praying for these abusers? My answers are these
*How should you feel?  Probably exactly how you are feeling.
*Are you allowed to feel angry? “Be angry and sin not.”  YES YOU CAN BE ANGRY. YOU SHOULD BE ANGRY…YOU MUST BE ANGRY!!! EVEN OUTRAGED.
*Should you pray for these abusers? Pray?…yes, Pray for the abuser? NO! …pray against the abuser? YES!!!

Let me clear things up because I know some of you are thinking about the Lord’s teachings like, pray for them that despitefully use you, and bless them that curse you, love them that hate you. It may be that some are thinking of Paul’s word, “Overcome evil with good.”  Reader what I am saying does not cross those lines.  Am I disagreeing with the Lord Jesus?  GOD FORBID….DEATH BEFORE DISAGREE !!! !!! !!!

Reader, I am not speaking about your enemy or my enemy. I am speaking about the enemy of God and the enemy of helpless children. If any of these abusers come to our doors seeking water or aid, we must grant them their needs. There must be no doubt on this. One can be opposed to gay rights…one can even hate gay rights. One can hate the abusers of children in the nebulous but in life, we must still love our enemies. In other words, hate God’s enemy a far off but love them up close. This should make sense if the Spirit abides in you. If you are confused, contact me directly so I might clarify.

Christ-ian prayers should be directed to God, Who Judges Righteously and standeth at the door. Your prayers (no swearing; if you can help it) should be invective. Imprecatory prayers are allowed. You must not use these prayers against your enemies but against the enemies of God and others. Psalm 69 is an imprecatory prayer that you might find helpful in your invective and imprecatory prayers.

A word to comfort you: Paul tells us that our prayers are cleaned up by the Holy Spirit and He delivers our prayers to God and He conforms them to God’s will (Romans 8). Therefore, you can and may pray your heart out. You may “angry pray” and denounce the pedophile priests with and in your prayers. If your prayer is not in accordance with God’s will, the Holy Spirit will not take it to God or He will conform it to meet God’s will.

The Christ-ian must have liberty in prayer. The Christ-ian must be open and honest with God concerning all things. God invites and encourages us to come to His Throne of Grace and to cast all our cares upon our Elder Brother, because our Elder Brother cares for us. Our Elder Brother has all power and authority over all flesh, over all carnal things and all spiritual things.

In closing, May God condemn the catholic church wherein (s)atan and demons reside.

Godspeed.
